My kingdom is not of this world, but I have a wish. I wish all honest peoples of the world come to repent of their sins and believe in Jesus Christ in order to receive the eternal life. So when the nuclear war breaks out, even though they die they will go to Heaven. The Bible makes it clear, the children of the devil and the sons of perdition will go to Hell to be punished or tortured forever and ever.
Let the peace-loving nations and peoples of the world take notice. Leaders of peace-loving nations must unite and resist the aggression of warmongers. Let all enemies of war unite and take effective action. The war is inevitable because the evil leaders want war. The nuclear war is coming. The end of the world is near. The Kingdom of God is at hand. What you must seek:
1. Seek God’s will.
Exd 18:15, “Moses answered him, Because the people come to me to seek God’s will.”
Note: In old times, people came to Moses to seek God’s will. When Jesus came and sent the Holy Spirit to live in believers, we now can seek God’s will not through any person. To seek God’s will means the same as to seek the counsel of the Lord. What you seek will determine your eternity. Seek earthly things you will perish with them. Seek God and His righteousness you will have eternal life in Jesus Christ. God’s will is supreme, God rules the universe with His sovereignty which no one and nothing can resist. Cf. 1Ki 22:5.
No one can stand against the will of God, not even the sole superpower.
2. Do not seek revenge.
Lev 19:18 , “Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.”
Note: There is a flaw in Chinese culture. Chinese people seek revenge; so do the radical nations and cultures. We Christians must not seek revenge. All Chinese kongfu movies have one common theme and that is driven by revenge. Without revenge, there is no story.
3. Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists.
Lev 19:31, “Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.”
Note: This includes not consulting astrologists and fortune-tellers and Fenshui masters. It was wrong for Nancy Reagan to seek the counsel of astrologers. Christians cannot consult fortune-tellers, astrologers, fengshui, etc. Once I worked at an American corporation and met a young white woman. She was totally obsessed and driven by Fengshui because evidently she wanted so badly to get rich, and believing Fengshui will make her rich. People are not motivated by truth, they are motivated by greed, or love of money.
4. Seek the Lord your God.
Deu 4:29, “But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find Him if you look for Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Note: How to seek the Lord? With all your heart and with all your soul.
5. He did not seek help from the Lord.
2Ch 16:12, “In the thirty-ninth year of his reign Asa was afflicted with a disease in his feet. Though his disease was severe, even in his illness he did not seek help from the Lord, but only from the physicians.”
Note: The problem of Asa was not he sought help from the physicians; he sought help only from the physicians. Asa did not seek help from the Lord. Christians may seek help from physicians when they are sick, but do not forget in your illness seek help from the Lord. Physicians are mere men who do not know when they will die, they also get sick themselves. There is a saying, Physician, heal thyself.
A sick person needs a physician. Christians may consult physicians and take medications. But it is stupid to trust physicians only, for doctors are also mortal. Nowadays doctors can even defraud you.
6. In his pride the wicked does not seek Him.
Psa 10:4, “In his pride the wicked does not seek Him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.”
Note: This Scripture vividly describes the mentality of the wicked: in all his thoughts there is no room for God because love of money, power and sex fill all his heart. The wicked are usually arrogant. Unbelieving scientists do not seek God because they think they are superior people who have knowledge. Yet no scientist knows when he is going to die.
Have you met a wicked man who is not arrogant and proud?
7. The Lord looks down from Heaven…to see if there are any who seek God.
Psa 14:2 “The Lord looks down from Heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.” Cf. Psa 53:2 .
Note: God sees everyone. God sees you whether you are aware or not.
You see crowds and multitudes seek money, power, and sex; where do you see people seeking God, and seek truth?
8. This is what I seek.
Psa 27:4, “One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in His temple.”
Note: The contradiction among many American politicians is the fact that they seek political office by pretending they seek the Lord. They seek money and power by pretending they believe in democracy and for the public good. To seek forever with the Lord is the supreme goal of every believer.
Children of God will one day dwell with the Heavenly Father in the Paradise of God and see the glory of God and gaze upon the beauty of the Lord for eternity. THERE IS NO KINGDOM LIKE THE KINGDOM OF HEVEN.
9. Those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
Psa 34:10, “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.”
Note: For the world, good things are money, power and sex. For believers, good things are faith, hope and love. Most believers are not rich in this world, but rich in faith and good works. Preachers and followers of prosperity gospel want good things of this world. That is a false gospel. The things of the world are passing away, we are also passing away. Do you know where you are going?
God provides good things to those who seek the Lord. The good things that can last for ever and ever.
10. Seek peace and pursue it.
1 Pe 3:11, “He must turn from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it.”
Note: Warmongering nations seek power and world domination; therefore they do not seek peace. Cf. Psa 34:14. Prosperity is only possible where there is peace. War is most destructive and wasteful. The United States is very wrong in seeking world domination and absolute military supremacy and causing division and destruction in the world. Obama’s pivot to Asia policy did not seek peace, it sought military supremacy and world domination. The United States wants to be the supreme power in Asia Pacific although it is located in North America. For this reason the U.S. is leading, coordinating and arming Japan, NATO, allies, UK, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, and Japan etc. to have the coming war of aggression against China and Russia in order to rob China’s territories and loot its resources and dominate and dictate the world.
Since the end of World War II, American presidents and politicians have been seeking and making wars of conquest in killing millions and millions of innocent peoples around the world, only President Richard Nixon was seeking a just and lasting peace for the world. On the contrary, Western leaders and politicians want war to dominate the world.
11. The lions roar…and seek their food from God.
Psa 104:21, “The lions roar for their prey and seek their food from God.”
Note: Every time you hear the lions roar, do not forget they seek their food from God.
12. The ears of the wise seek it out.
Pro 18:15, “The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge; the ears of the wise seek it out.”
Note: By listening you may acquire knowledge and understanding. God blesses me with the ears that can discern whether the caller by phone (without seeing) is white, black or yellow. The ears of the wise are more precious to discern right and wrong, good and evil, true and false.
13. Those who seek the Lord understand justice.
Pro 28:5, “Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand it fully.”
Note: Evil and greedy doctors and hospital owners do not understand justice, that is why they make false and fraudulent charges to patients to become filthy rich. Evil lawyers do not understand justice, for money they would lie and present fake evidence. Warmongers, imperialists, militarists, monopolists, capitalists, and terrorists do not understand justice, for that reason they lie, lie, and lie; kill, kill, and kill; destroy, destroy, and destroy; rob, rob, and rob. They rejoice in doing evil.
All my life I have never met the wicked who seeks the Lord, practices righteousness and justice.
14. Should you then seek great things for yourself.
Jer 45:5, “Should you then seek great things for yourself? Seek them not. For I will bring disaster on all people, declares the Lord, but wherever you go I will let you escape with your life.”
Note: To seek great things for yourself is unholy ambition. How many people driven mad by ambition invite disaster and destruction. Some American politicians want to be the president and so they make false claims that God calls them to run for the presidency. It turns out they were liars. To lie in the name of God is a terrible sin. How many American presidents lie and use the name of God for political reasons.
15. Seek justice, encourage the oppressed.
Isa 1:17, “Learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.”
Note: Do you know any politician or government official who seeks justice and defend the cause of the oppressed? Wall Street and Washington seek money and power, not justice. Hollywood seeks money and sex. Military-industrial-security complex seeks power and money and sex. My websites do not make money; they stand for truth and justice. You cannot serve the Lord without standing for truth and justice.
16. Seek the Lord while He may be found.
Isa 55:6, “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.”
Note: Today is the day of salvation, ask the Lord Jesus to save you while you can. There may be no tomorrow for you. Seek the Lord while He may be found. Call on the Lord while He is near.
17. Seek good, not evil, that you may live.
Amo 5:14, “Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say He is.”
Note: Those who seek evil will perish. Those who lift the sword will die by the sword. Those who seek money, power and sex turn out seeking evil. Those who seek money, power and sex will perish. Western leaders and politicians do not seek good, they seek evil, that is why the world is full of problems, poverty, injustice, difficulties, and miseries. Those who seek dictating, dominating and ruling the world will perish.
18. Seek righteousness, seek humility.
Zep 2:3, “Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land, you who do what He commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the Lord’s anger.”
Note: Do you know any powerful and rich people who are righteous and humble? Just watch Western leaders how they behave and speak! Do you know any country which is righteous?
19. Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness.
Mat 6:33 , “But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Cf. Luk 12:31 .
Note: The first priority of every believer is to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. There are many who seek the wrong things or they do not know what is most important. Most people do not know what is the most important thing.
And some years ago the message shocked me, “It can be easy with Billy Graham on your side. My Hope With Billy Graham.” I do not know Billy Graham personally although I had a personal letter from him many years ago. I do know something about Billy Graham what Bob Jones, Sr. wrote to me about him (and I believe Bob Jones, Sr. was wrong in practicing racial gospel) and others as well as media that wrote about him. Do not be fooled, no matter who is on your side, your life is not going to be easy. It is not easy to live in this sinful world no matter who is on your side. Job 8:13, “So are the paths of all who forget God; and the hope of the godless will perish.” The godless people of Wall Street, Washington, and Hollywood, military-industrial-security- complex — their hope will perish. I know Billy Graham had been on the side with many American presidents; however I do not know any one U.S. president who had been influenced by Billy Graham to do good and right. Once I hoped President Richard Nixon would succeed in seeking just and lasting peace for the world, but he failed as Woodrow Wilson failed too.
Psa 39:7, “And now, Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in You.”
Psa 71:5 , “For You are my hope; O Lord GOD, You are my confidence from my youth.”
I do not need and I do not want Billy Graham or anyone on my side; I want the Lord Jesus Christ on my side. My hope does not lie with Billy Graham or anyone else. Jesus Christ is my hope. Do not hope the Unites States of America will save other nations because it cannot even save itself. I do not put my hope in the United States or any nation. Rom 8:25, “But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.” I hope for the Kingdom to come, and I am waiting eagerly for the second coming of Jesus Christ, my God and Savior.
20. Seek and you will find.
Mat 7:7 , “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
Cf. Luk 11:9
Note: The great statement of Jesus Christ has both practical and spiritual values. This Scripture provides you with the secret of success. Life is serious; you have to ask, seek and knock. I have told my students the secret of success: Ask, Seek, and Knock.
21. The Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.
Luk 19:10 , “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.”
Note: Sinners are lost. Jesus Christ came to save sinners. Many lost sinners do not know they are lost. One question can test whether you are lost or not. Where are you going? No one is good enough to go to Heaven. Jesus is the Way to Heaven. Do you know where are you going, Heaven or Hell? Only the saved can go to Heaven.
The self-righteous people do not seek salvation. Jesus Christ came down from Heaven to the earth to seek sinners and save what was lost. There is no difference, a president or a pimp, a prime minister or a prostitute, all sinners may come to Jesus Christ. Do not be fooled by John Calvin, the Lord will not reject any sinner who comes to Him for salvation.
22. I do not seek to please Myself.
Jhn 5:30, “By Myself (Christ) I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and My judgment is just, for I do not seek to please Myself but Him who sent Me.”
Note: Jesus Christ sets an example for believers and servants of Christ to seek to please God. The worldly man seeks to please himself. A servant of Christ and a disciple of Jesus Christ does not seek to please himself.
23. Those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality.
Rom 2:7, “To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, He (God) will give eternal life.”
Note: This is what every believer seeks: glory, honor and immortality. It is far far better to have glory, honor and immorality than to have money, power and sex in this world. What is eternal is more valuable than what is temporary. Christians by doing good seek glory, honor and immortality. Glory, honor, and immortality are good things that the Lord will give to those who seek Him.
24. Do not seek a divorce.
1Cr 7:27, “Are you married? Do not seek a divorce. Are you unmarried? Do not look for a wife.”
Note: The Lord forbids divorce. Christians may marry among Christians. America is practicing a false version of Christianity, not only many church members divorce, even preachers or ministers divorce. Whether you are a Christian or a preacher, if you divorce, you violate the teaching of Christ.
25. Nobody should seek his own good.
1Cr 10:24, “Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.”
Note: In a capitalistic society, everybody seeks his own interest. Politicians and bureaucrats pretend to seek public good, in fact they are self-serving. If Western leaders and terrorists seek the good of others, there will be no war but peace in the world.
26. He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
Hbr 11:6 , “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.”
Note: God rewards those who earnestly seek Him. Every believer can testify to the validity of this Scripture.
I know and see America is a nation driven and obsessed by the value of money, power and sex. Most Americans seek money, power and sex – that is why America is a very unhappy and sad society. The rich wants to get richer and richer by all means as represented by Wall Street. The powerful wants to get more and more power by hook or by crook as represented by Washington. The rich and powerful all want more and more money, power, and sex as represented by Wall Street, Washington and Hollywood, military-industrial-security complex. Almost all evils, crimes and sins in the world are because peoples seek money, power and sex. But the Bible says,
Ecc 5:10 ,“He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves abundance with its income. This too is vanity.” Not only those who love money are not satisfied with money, those who love power are not satisfied with power, and those who love sex are not satisfied with sex; there is nothing that satisfies permanently in the world.
Ecc 3:19 ,“For the fate of the sons of men and the fate of beasts is the same. As one dies so dies the other; indeed, they all have the same breath and there is no advantage for man over beast, for all is vanity.” If you are without God, you are without hope.
Ecc 1:14 ,“I have seen all the works which have been done under the sun, and behold, all is vanity and striving after wind.” The Hebrew word for vanity is hebel which means vapor, breath; anything transitory, evanescent, frail; emptiness, meaninglessness; – it occurs 73 times in the Old Testament. Such is the human existence, Ecc 12:8 ,“Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher, “all is vanity!”
1Jo 2:16-17 ,“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.”
Note: The lust of the flesh is sex. The lust of the eyes is money. The boastful pride of life is power. Oh, how the West and the whole world have gone mad for these three evils. The world is passing away; and the wicked are passing with it. If you seek the Lord, the life and glory are eternal.
Jhn 4:10, “Jesus answered and said to her: If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, Give Me a drink, you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”
I have met so many people who earnestly seek money, power, and sex without shame.
27. Keep seeking the things above.
Col 3:1,“Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.”
Note: The things above include faith, hope and love. The things above must be kept seeking, not a one time effort. The things below are money, power, and sex. Washington seeks power and money to dictate the world. Wall Street seeks money and power. When you have money, you have power. Hollywood seeks sex and money. The things of the world are passing away.
Col 3:2 , “Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.”
Note: To seek things that are on earth is to set your mind on things on earth. Things on earth include money, power and sex. Individuals who seek money, power and sex are bound to be alienated, abusive, corrupt, destructive, exploitative, greedy, immoral, selfish, untrustworthy, violent and worldly persons. Any nation that embraces the value of money, power and sex is bound to be an alienated, abusive, corrupt, destructive, exploitative, greedy, immoral, selfish, untrustworthy, violent and warmongering society. If you do not believe me, just open your eyes to see and ears to hear and examine the evidence with your heart. What you seek will determine not only your destiny but eternity. There are somethings seriously wrong with preachers and believers who seek the things on earth. Any nations or peoples who seek the earthly things of money, power and sex are bound to self-destructive with all sorts of evil and eventually doomed.
Michael B. Sauter（May 22, 2012）reported the Happiest Countries in the World. In 1975-76 I had conducted critical analysis and assessment of the six most advanced civilizations on earth including Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. See The Theory of Good Society. I know these nations, the study by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development’s report on life satisfaction has some validity. The United States of America despite of all the boasting and bragging of supremacists is not among the list. That is no surprise. How can Americans be happy when 1 percent of population owns most of the wealth and power and rule over the 99 percent? The nation with the largest deficits and big national debt of over $31 trillion is sinking deeper and deeper, faster and faster. The sole superpower is either preparing or making wars, doing nothing productive or positive in the world. Americans live in fear daily, fear of crooks and criminals and corrupt officials and terrorists. Although I am not a psychiatrist, I believe if you live in a violent and corrupt society, hear and watch bad news on TV day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year – for many years, that will negatively affect your mind and may cause mental illness of various kinds. If you are serious about the American problems, please read America Is Committing Suicide . To be frank, I thought Norway was the best nation on earth if the climate is not considered. However, I would not survive in a cold country like Norway. The recent event of massacre in Norway and the government policy of accepting Islamic immigrants would make me very unhappy if I were a Norwegian citizen. Yesterday I met a beautiful young Norwegian girl and man. I explained to them, the Norwegian government is wrong in abolishing death penalty and accepting Islamic immigrants. For Islam is completely not compatible with Christianity. See A Response to the Norwegian Nobel Committee. Happiness is a relative concept, no one can be fully happy in this world. Some nations are much better off than other nations. Many nations are the worst in the world. It would be offensive to mention those rat and rogue nations.
Only in a good society can people be happy. In a bad society no one can be happy. No one can be happy in an uncivilized nation. Where can you find a good society in the last days? The most miserable people live in an oppressive, greedy, corrupt, unjust, unfair and violent society. All nations are in deep trouble. All nations have problems, only difference in kind or degree. I do not have faith in humanity or in this world. The world can only have difficulty, disappointment, dissatisfaction, distress AND destruction no matter where you are.
In the midst of COVID-19, DO YOU STILL SEEK MONEY, POWER, AND SEX? Don’t you know your life, my life, anybody’s life, can be snuffed out any moment?
If you want to SEEK a better country, you must look ABOVE, not below.
I am afraid you do not have time.
Would you come now to Jesus Christ and ask Him for the living water – the eternal life?
