This article is written to let you know what Christianity is truly is. Christianity is unlike all other religions which are man-made. Christianity is the Revealed religion which is in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Central Message of Christianity. Christianity is the personal relationship of Christians with the great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
Western imperialists, colonialists, supremacists, hegemonists, capitalists, monopolists, militarists, terrorists, oppressors, warmongers, dictators, and evildoers have deliberately distorted, disgraced, dishonored and used Christianity as a pretext and and a cover for many of their wars of aggression, oppressions, suppressions, interventions, sins, iniquities, inhumanities and injustice for the last 500 years or more to the present day.
Christianity has been abused and misused, misrepresented by Western nations and misunderstood by other nations and peoples. This article is an attempt to answer the question what is Christianity; and to present Christianity as it is really is exactly from the Biblical point of view as taught by Jesus Christ Himself, the Founder, and as practiced by the Apostles and early true Christians from the beginning.
What Is Christianity？ Strictly speaking, Christianity is NOT like other religions. Christianity is the Revealed Religion, the revelation of Jesus Christ. Christianity in practice is a personal Relationship with Jesus Christ .
Christianity is all about the PERSON, ministry, teaching and redemption of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Savior of the world.
Christianity is neither superstition nor science. Superstition is based on false and unfounded beliefs and fears. Science is limited by human and empirical and tentative knowledge at a time and place. Christianity is the revealed religion. Only God makes revelation of the ultimate truth and wisdom. Revelation cannot be achieved by human discovery or wisdom. Christianity is the revelation of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was God who became Man to reveal God and spiritual things and truths to human beings.
The Church of Jesus Christ is the only Body of Christ that carries the true Christian message to the whole world. There are some key points you need to know from the outset so that you may have true knowledge and correct understanding of the Christian Faith. Christianity is the Christian Faith. We are not concerned about other faiths or beliefs or any other individuals.
The following ten points are intended to help you understand the Christian truth.
1. ) The Church of Jesus Christ is the pillar of truth.
2. ) The Roman Catholic Church is historically false, full of heresies and wrong doctrines and superstitions.
3. ) Science cannot provide ultimate truth and wisdom because science at best is human tentative knowledge at a given time and place.
4. ) Human philosophies cannot provide ultimate truth and wisdom because they are limited human thoughts confined to limited intelligence.
5. ) All religions except Christianity are man-made.
6. ) Christianity – the revealed religion – explains and exalts the Supreme Being, Wisdom and Truth, the Lord Jesus.
7. ) Neither science nor religion can save mankind.
8. ) Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life – outside of Christ there is no salvation.
9. ) The wisdom of the living is to know only the Most High rules the universe and over the realm of mankind and all.
10. ) It is of infinite truth and wisdom that human beings must submit themselves humbly and sincerely to the Will of God.
There are four types of book. Books that indulge you are bad; books that inform you are useful; books that instruct you are good; and books that inspire you are great. All good books and great books are human. If I read a great book several times, it begins to tire me. The Bible is divine, the greatest of all books. I have studied the Bible many times all my life and still it does not make me tired or weary. Every time I read the Bible over again, I receive new revelation and inspiration. The Bible has the most instructive history, the most fascinating biography, the sweetest poetry, the most inspiring message, the most comfortable counsel, the most soul-searching prayer, the greatest sermon, the purest wisdom, the truest knowledge, and the powerful Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Book of all books is God’s Word, the Eternal Word of God. Heaven and earth will pass away, but the Words of God will not pass away. You can find out for yourself.
Christianity is solely based on the Holy Bible, the Word of God, and not on any man or anything else. So far I have found Augustine a true believer and a sound theologian. However, I do not want any man to stand between me and my Lord. I do not need any teacher to stand between me and my faith in Jesus Christ. Because no man is perfect, I am afraid I might find some errors in Augustine later because of influence by the apostate Roman Catholic Church. The words of Augustine will pass away too. I do not call him Saint Augustine because every born again and sanctified believer is a saint dead or alive. I do not play the game of the Roman Catholic Church. The Holy Scripture is the sole and ultimate authority. The main task of Christians is to evangelize the world (preach the Gospel to every creature), not to change or reform the world. The world cannot be saved, it will come to an end as appointed by God. By the same token if you believe in Christ and do what is good and right, the world would be improved. Because true Christians have a new way of life.
Mat 13:24-30, “Jesus presented another parable to them, saying: The
Kingdom of Heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also. The slaves of the landowner came and said to him: Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares? And he said to them: An enemy has done this! The slaves said to him: Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up? But he said: No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers: First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn.”
Note: The division between good seed and tares is an eternal truth, just like the separation between light and darkness is forever.
Mat 13:36-40, “Then He left the crowds and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him and said: Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field. And He said: The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the Kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the Evil One; and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are angels. So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the world.”
It is directive will of God to evangelize the world, and it is permissive will of God to let the world grow worse. I can see peoples and nations that listen to God’s Word will do better, and peoples and nations that reject God’s Word will do worse. A good society is good in itself, but it cannot save people from everlasting death. In the dispensation of Grace, the agenda of God is to save souls, everything else is secondary. The churches that put doing charity work as first priority are wrong. The churches that teach religion and do not preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ are not churches of God. The churches (body of organization) that forbid others to preach the Gospel and establish churches are enemies of the cross. Here is an important message to the Christian church members of more than one billion all over the world. This is not my message to you; this is the message of God to you. In fact, it is written in the Bible more than 2,000 years ago, written in the Book of Romans, Chapter 8.
Why this message? Because most church members do not know whether: They are saved or not. The proof of their salvation. Before the most important message to church members is proclaimed, let us review in brief the way of salvation and what the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ is. It is as simple as ABC. This is what Christianity is all about.
A.) You are a sinner. We are all sinners. The wages of sin is death; that is why all will die. If you do not have sin, you will not die. Although you are a sinner, the wonder of wonders God loves you. Before the foundation of the world God has provided the salvation.
B.) You cannot save yourself. No one can save you. You cannot save me, and I cannot save you. No one can save you. For that reason God sent Jesus Christ to save sinners. Jesus Chris was God who became Man in order to become the Savior of the world. Jesus Christ died for sinners on the cross so that we can be saved. Through the precious blood of Jesus Christ, the sins of believers can be washed away and forgiven.
C.) How can you be saved? Simply by believing in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as your Lord and Savior. You are saved by grace of God and through faith in Jesus Christ. Grace because you do not deserve and cannot earn it. Repent of your sins and accept the Lord Jesus as your Savior, confess with your mouth and believe with your heart.
You said I have done that. That is good. Now, the questions are:
A.) Do you know you are saved?
B.) Do you know what is the proof that you are saved?
I have met thousands of people who have been church members for many years, and even from childhood, and yet they do not know they are saved or not and whether they do have the proof that they are saved.
Here is the Word of God for you:
Rom 8:9 , “However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.”
The Word of God is clear: “But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.”
You may have a baptismal certificate, or you have a church membership certificate, etc. but they are useless. You say, I believe. Oh, the devil also believes. The devil has evil spirit, not the Spirit of Christ. There is no other way: If you have the Spirit of Christ in you, you belong to Christ, and you are saved. If you do not have the Spirit of Christ, you do not belong to Christ. Your pastor does not know you have the Spirit of Christ in you or not; in fact many pastors and preachers do not have the Spirit of Christ in them. I do not and cannot know if you have the Spirit of Christ in you or not, just as I cannot know if you are hungry or full. But you can know whether the Spirit of God lives in you or not. Do not be confused, the Spirit of Christ is the Spirit of God. For the Bible says:
Rom 8:16 , “The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God. ”
The word testify in Greek is symmartyreō which means to bear witness with, bear joint witness; – it occurs 4 times in the New Testament. It is of no use that your pastor testifies you are a child of God. I cannot testify you are a child of God. Only the Holy Spirit can testify with your spirit that you are a child of God. This is the proof and only proof. You ask, Can the Holy Spirit speak to me? Yes, the Holy Spirit not only can speak to you, the Holy Spirit gives you new life in Jesus Christ.
You say, I do not know whether the Spirit of Christ lives in me or not. The fact you do not know proves that the Holy Spirit has not testified with your spirit that you are a child of God. You ask what can you do? This is the promise:
Luk 11:13 ,“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?”
So you can say this prayer:
Our Heavenly Father, I have believed in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, but I am ignorant and do not know whether I have the Spirit of Christ in me or not. Now I earnestly ask in the Name of Jesus Christ so that the Spirit of Christ may be given to me, to live in me, to lead me, to guide me, and to testify with my spirit that I am a child of God. Thank you Lord. Honor, Glory and Power belong to the Highest. Amen.
As Jesus promises, you pray and continuously pray until the Holy Spirit speaks to you and testifies with your spirit. Then your joy you will be great and only you will know. Salvation is a personal matter.
1. Christianity is NOT a Western religion.
The birth place of Christianity was Jerusalem, Judea (Israel), just as Judaism was. Christianity is the religion derived from JesusChrist , based on the Bible as sacred Scripture, the Old Testament and the New Testament. Due to the fact that the Roman Emperor Constantine adopted Christianity as the state religion, Christianity predominates in the Western world; but Christianity is not a Western religion. The West has dishonored the Lord Jesus.
Mat 1:1 , “THE book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham: ”
Note: According to the flesh, Jesus was born a Jew, a descendant of Abraham.
In the beginning there was Israel and the Jews. There was no Palestine, Palestinians, Arabs or Hamas. About 4,000 years ago God gave the Promised Land to Abraham and his descendants. The children of Israel rebelled against God and were scattered around the world. During the colonial period, the British empire ruled Palestine. The illegal Arabs moved in and occupied the Holy Land without payment. When the State of Israel was reestablished, all Palestinians, Arabs and Hamas should have been evicted from the Holy Land. There was no Palestinian authority or territory. The United Nations or any agency does not have the authority to give away the Jewish land to Palestinians, or Arabs or Hamas. The two-state proposal is not the two-state solution. The leaders of the United Kingdom have no moral character and courage to come out and explain to Palestinians, Arabs and Hamas, that they have no claim to the Holy Land, and no resettlement right in the Jewish land. They can get out in peace and seek statehood or residency in neighboring Arab states. For Jerusalem is forever the capital of the great king David. God will fight for Jerusalem. Do not be an enemy of God. What is the point for Hamas that Gaza was demolished and asked for donation to rebuild?
Mat 2:1-2, “Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying: Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”
Note: The people who first worshiped Jesus were wise men from the East, not from the West.
Christianity takes its start with Jesus of Nazareth, the historical Jesus as it is written in the New Testament. Almost everything that is known of Jesus Christ, comes from His apostles and early disciples who put the events of His life and the content of His teaching in the Gospels and Acts as well as the Epistles – the New Testament. It can be said the only authentic account of Jesus Christ is the New Testament. Any human reconstruction or revision is invalid and inaccurate and false, for only the Scriptures inspired by the Holy Spirit is authentic and has the sole authority. The twelve Apostles appointed by Jesus were all Jews, and it is within that framework of the Old Testament that they interpreted the significance of what they had received and perceived, seen, heard and experienced: He was the Christ, or Messiah, who had been promised to the patriarchs of Israel. As the record of those promises, the Hebrew Scriptures were sacred for early Christians no less than for Jews, fulfilling the claim to a continuity with the history of the people of God since the creation of the world. The apostles Paul, John, Peter and others were revealed the message of Jesus Christ to His Church and peoples of the world. Together with the selective memories of Jesus in the Gospels as inspired by the Holy Spirit, the early writings of the apostles (letters or epistles to churches) were circulated widely in Christian communities throughout the Roman Empire; eventually they formed the Christian New Testament as distinguished from the Hebrew Scriptures or the Old Testament.
During the second and third centuries the Church suffered persecution and martyrdom, but in the fourth century the emperor Constantine (306–337) made Christianity the official religion of the realm. This is the beginning of apostasy and corruption of the state religion which later was known as the Roman Catholic Church. Christianity is not a product of Greek and Roman thought, therefore Greek and Roman thought cannot be used to interpret Christian Faith or theology. Although the New Testament was written in Greek, but it was not a product of Greek civilization or thought.
The fusion of imperial and ecclesiastic powers created corrupt religious practices such as worship of the images of Jesus Christ, Mary and apostles and un-Scriptural liturgy and rituals.
Christianity as a religion, is not just “respect for what is sacred ”; it is used in Jam 1:27, “Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. ”
Note: Here the word religion in Greek is thrēskeia which means fear of God, piety toward God, worthy to be embraced by all nations, religious discipline; – it occurs only 4 times in the New Testament. Christianity is the revealed religion, not self-made religion, not man-made religion. In other words, you must worship God according to His Word, His Way – not your way, man’s way, or anyway. Unstained in Greek is aspilos which means spotless, unsullied, free from vice, irreproachable; – it occurs only 4 times in the New Testament. Christianity as practiced in the West is stained by imperialism, colonialism, capitalism, hegemonism, materialism, militarism, and secularism. Thus the West is practicing a false version of Christianity.
America and European nations claim to be Christians, yet they are the most un-Christian nations on earth. In the last 500 years European nations and later America have done so much evil in this world. Even today they still lie, lie, lie; kill, kill, kill; and rob, rob, rob. Just since the end of World War II, America and its allies have killed millions and millions of innocent peoples around the world in unjust wars and bloody military interventions and sanctions. America and European nations dictate and dominate the world and violate, exploit and interfere in the internal affairs of so many nations. Western media daily and habitually make fake news, fake reports, fake views, disinformation, distort facts, and spread lies without shame. The white supremacists disgrace Christianity beyond measure.
Christianity can be summed up in:
1Ti 3:16 , “By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness:
He who was revealed in the flesh, was vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory. ”
Christianity is divine, historical, spiritual, transcendental, and eternal. By this Biblical definition, Christianity is not the religion practiced by Western powers known in history and today. Western powers sadly and systematically have misrepresented Christianity.
At the National Prayer Breakfast some years ago, Obama testified “as a Christian” coincides with Jesus’ teaching that “for unto whom much is given, much shall be required.”
There are plenty of evidence to prove Obama is NOT a Christian, because he is a liar and killer. Since the end of World War II American presidents have incited and instigated hundreds of unjust wars and bloody military interventions which had killed millions and millions of innocent peoples around the world. Obama is the first American president to support legalization of same-sex marriage and homosexuality. He is even using executive order to force Christian colleges and universities to promote the cause of homosexuals under the false pretense of religious freedom and equality. Obama knew that in 1971 the U.S. government violated international law and sovereignty of China in illegally giving administrative control of China’s Diaoyu Islands to the unconditionally surrendered war crime nation of Japan. At first Obama said the U.S. took no position on the sovereignty of Diaoyu Islands, later he said the U.S. will defend Japan against China – outwitted by the prime minister of Japan. Obama’s “pivot to Asia” policy was the American code word for aggression and expansion into Asia Pacific in violation of American Monroe Doctrine.
Luk 12:45-48,“But if that slave says in his heart: My master will be a long time in coming, and begins to beat the slaves, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk; the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces, and assign him a place with the unbelievers. And that slave who knew his master’s will and did not get ready or act in accord with his will, will receive many lashes, but the one who did not know it, and committed deeds worthy of a flogging, will receive but few. From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.”
Jesus was speaking about the faithful servant and the evil servant. Although Obama misapplied the Scriptures, it is in accordance with Christian principle of justice that the rich should and must pay taxes in higher proportion. Since America is not a Christian nation, even based on a secular principle of justice, the rich must pay more taxes. It is not fair for the rich to pay a tax rate lower than the middle class. If is very un-Christian for Obama to support same-sex marriage and sent a letter of congratulation to a gay couple. It is very un-Christian for officials to lie in public or in private. It is un-Christian to attack any nation under the pretext of freedom, democracy, justice, human right, etc. It is un-Christian to violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of other nation such as the US-Taiwan Relations Act, Taiwan Act, Hong Kong Act. It is the will of God that nations should seek peace and harmony and not war and aggression.
All religious beliefs are generally called religions, except Christianity. Christianity in the true meaning of the word is not a religion as other religions. Christianity is a personal relation with Jesus Christ. You can be a member of a local church, but without relationship with Jesus Christ. For that reason the Church of Jesus Christ is the body of Christ. You can be a member of a local church without being a member of the body of Christ. To be a member of the body of Christ, you must have the Spirit of Christ dwelling in you. That is why Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
2. Christianity is NOT based on Western or any human tradition.
Not only Western traditions are contrary to the teachings of the Bible, many church traditions (as demonstrated by the Roman Catholic Church and others) are also contrary to the teachings of God’s Word. For that reason Christians do not accept the traditions of men.
Mat 15:3 , “He answered them: And why do you transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition? ”
Note: Tradition in Greek is paradosis which means ordinance; a giving over which is done by word of mouth or in writing, i.e. tradition by instruction, narrative, precept, etc. (Strong’s Concordance); the body of precepts, esp. ritual, which in the opinion of the later Jews were orally delivered by Moses and orally transmitted in unbroken succession to subsequent generations, which precepts, both illustrating and expanding the written law, as they did were to be obeyed with equal reverence (Strong’s Concordance); something added as opposed to the divine teachings; a customary pattern of thought, action or behavior; – which occurs 14 times in the New Testament.
By your tradition you can transgress the commandment of God.
Mat 15:6 , “So, for the sake of your tradition, you have made void the Word of God. ”
For the sake of your tradition, you can make void the Word of God.
Mar 7:8, “You leave the commandment of God, and hold fast the tradition of men.”
You hold fast the tradition of men may leave the commandment of God.
Mar 7:9 , “And He said to them: You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God, in order to keep your tradition! ” In order to keep your tradition, you may reject the commandment of God.
Mar 7:13 , “Thus making void the Word of God through your tradition which you hand on. And many such things you do.” Through your tradition and many such things you may make void the Word of God.
Col 2:8 , “See to it that no one makes a prey of you by philosophy and empty deception, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the universe, and not according to Christ. ”
Note: There are billions of peoples in the world today who are actually preys of false religions, philosophy, theology, so-called science and empty deceit according to human tradition. Prey means being made or taken as a captive. Deception in Greek is apatē which means deceit; deceitfulness; deceiving; trick; falsehood; guile; fraud; – which occurs 7 times in the New Testament. May I use a little anecdote to illustrate the point. Once upon a time I met a 13 year old Catholic girl. She kept saying that Mary was the perpetual Virgin as she was taught in the Catholic church, which asserts that Mary was “always a virgin, before, during and after the birth of Jesus Christ.” I told her that was not true because the Bible says the following facts:
1. The conception of Jesus by Mary was not a natural outcome of the sexual intercourse between Joseph and Mary. This was fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, Isa 7:14, “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a Virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.”
2. Whether Joseph and Mary had sexual intercourse or not, this was a private matter only the two knew; no one else knew. For this reason, Luk 1:34, “ Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I am a virgin?” Mary asked the angel how could she be with child since she was a virgin.
Luk 1:35, “The angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God.” The angel explained to Mary the conception of Jesus was by the Holy Spirit, it was supernatural that a virgin would be conceived without a sexual intercourse with a man.
3. Joseph also knew that he did not have sexual intercourse with Mary when Mary was found to be with child. Mat 1:18-25, “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit. And Joseph her husband, being a righteous man and not wanting to disgrace her, planned to send her away secretly. But when he had considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins. Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: “BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD AND SHALL BEAR A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL,” which translated means, “GOD WITH US.” And Joseph awoke from his sleep and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took Mary as his wife, but kept her a virgin until she gave birth to a Son; and he called His name Jesus.” Joseph being a righteous man and not wanting to disgrace Mary, planned to send her away secretly. But Joseph did as the angel of the Lord commanded him in a dream. Joseph kept Mary a virgin until she gave birth to a Son. Jesus was conceived BEFORE Joseph and Mary had sexual intercourse.
4. The fact that Mary had several children after giving birth to Jesus proves she is not the perpetual virgin at all. Mat 13:55-56, “Is not this the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary, and His brothers, James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this man get all these things?” Mary had other sons called James, Joseph, Simon and Judas as well as several daughters whose names were not given. All has been used in a negative way about the human tradition contrary to the Word of God. Some aspects of Western culture and many traditions such as Halloween, etc, and superstition, lucky charm, astrology, and racial beliefs, etc. are not compatible with the Bible.
There is also good tradition handed down by the apostles as written in the Book of Acts and the Epistles which Christians must follow. 2 Th 3:6 , “Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is living in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.
It is absolutely wrong to identify Thomas More, Knights of Columbus, John Calvin, Augustine, etc. with Christianity. All humans are fallible and imperfect, they cannot be used to identify with the infallible and perfect. They, etc. may want to identify with Christianity, but Christianity certainly cannot and do not identify with them. Christianity is only and solely identified with Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church, and His holy Apostles. Christianity is identified with the Holy Bible, the Word of God, the sole authority of Christian faith and conduct, especially the New Testament. Even John Calvin because of his false and wrong doctrine on Predestination cannot be identified with Christianity. Theologians are not infallible. What men say or think do not matter. What God says matter absolutely. God does not predetermine certain groups of people or individuals to go to Hell. For God so loved the world that whoever and whosoever believes in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and the Savior of the world, should not perish but have everlasting life. Jhn 6:37 , Jesus says, “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me; and him who comes to Me I will not cast out.” If you repent of your sins and accept and believe Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, He will not reject you. Believe in Jesus Christ, do not believe in John Calvin. This is good news, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
3. Christianity is NOT a white man religion.
The “white man’s burden” was the greatest historical fraud. The greatest historical evil was caused by the deeds committed under the pretext of “white man’s burden. ” The greatest evil which happened to the world was the “white man’s burden. ” The “white man’s burden ” has been the greatest historical fraud with vast political, military, economic and financial and social implications. Under pretext of the white man’s burden, Western imperialism and colonialism and capitalism were born and justified. The evil created by imperialism and colonialism and capitalism is incalculable and inestimable and immeasurable. Even today hegemonism has replaced imperialism and colonialism, it continues to divide the world, and seeks to dominate the world by wars of aggression, political armstwisting, military supremacy, legal terrorism, and economic colonialism, massive fraud and financial looting, etc. The history of white men and white nations is the history of wars of conquest, brutalities, atrocities, aggression, oppressions, exploitations, demarcations, and dominations. White men had and have plundered and plagued the world as practiced by Western imperialists, colonialists and capitalists and hegemonists. The wisdom of Jesus: You shall know them by their fruit. White men under the guise of Christianity did not and do not produce good fruit. White Europeans have done great evil in the world historically.
Mat 7:17-18, “ So, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears evil fruit. A good tree cannot bear evil fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. ”
Mat 12:33 , “Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or make the tree bad, and its fruit bad; for the tree is known by its fruit. ”
Luk 6:43-44, “For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit; for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thorns, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush. ”
Gal 5:22-23, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law. ”
Note: Western imperialism, colonialism and capitalism do not have the fruit of the Spirit.
Mat 7:16-17, “You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles? So, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears evil fruit. ”
Note: The trees of imperialism, colonialism, capitalism and hegemonism of the West produce much evil fruits. By the authority of Jesus Christ, because the white nations do not produce good fruit, so you know they are un-Christian. Therefore, Christianity is not a white man religion. Many white Europeans and Americans believe wrongly they are Christians because they were born in Europe or America, and because they are whites. No one is a Christian because he is white, or because he is European or American. You must be born again to be a Christian to have the Holy Spirit dwelling in you.
4. Christianity is NOT a tool of Western democracy and capitalism.
There is no such a thing called Christendom; there are only Western powers that pretend to be Christian nations. There are no Christian nations; there are Western nations that claim to be Christian but practice un-Christian activities under the sun. There is not one nation in the world which is fit or qualified to be called a Christian nation. There are nations whose populations are mostly nominal Christians. There are very strange white people who think they are Christians simply because they were born white. To associate Christianity with Western democracy and capitalism is like to associate sheep with wolf and pig.
Democratic government is supposed to be a form of government in which supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them through a system of representation usually involving free elections. Elections have become meaningless and useless because they are hijacked by moneyed interests. Whoever has the money got elected. Special interests control the election process. Money poisons politics and political process. Democracy is a political theory based on the majority rule, but the reality is that today it is the tool of making the masses to serve the interests of the few. Political parties serve themselves and serve the special interests but they do not serve the interests of the people. Democracy as practiced by the West has made the few the elite and privileged class. The so-called democratic nations rest their power in the hands of the few for the benefits of the few. Abraham Lincoln probably believed in government of the people, by the people and for the people. Today who can honestly tell what government is of the people, by the people and for the people? The Western propaganda machine spews out lies, fake news, disinformation, misinformation, falsehoods, delusions and illusions and propaganda that fool the masses and the world. Government and politics are darkened by corruption and greed and lust. Wall Street and Washington have powerfully proved the fallacy of democracy and capitalism. Capitalism was born of greed and bred by greed. From million-dollar college presidents, to $9 trillion predatory health-care industry, to $8 trillion flawed legal system, to hedge funds managers earning several billions a year, to all former U.S. presidents becoming multi-millionaires and a great number of former high-ranking appointees becoming multi-millionaires, to tax-cuts for the rich, to highest debts and deficits in the world, to dollar dropping and losing value, to uncontrollable and innumerable financial frauds and scams, to high unemployment, to huge income inequality, to bailout of Wall Street with billions in bonuses for executives, etc. all point to the fact that Capitalism is bad for America and bad for the world. American healthcare and legal systems are the corrupt, fraudulent and predatory establishment that sucks more than $9 trillion a year from the American lifeblood and bankrupts millions of American families.
After what is said and done, American leaders and politicians do not practice true democracy: the national sovereignty is not vested in American citizens written in the US Constitution, and America never practices the national referendum to settle the most important issues and matters of America by American citizens. American leaders and politicians have all the powers and privileges; American citizens bear the burden of mismanagement and wrong national direction.
The West practices phony democracy because the majority of citizens do not have the sovereignty to remove any elected official by national referendum and change the government or national policy.
Capitalism is a fraud, the biggest fraud, as demonstrated by Wall Street .
“Quantitative easing ”still means printing money. “Orderly resolutions” still means bailout. You cannot dress up lies with the veneer of truth. You can dress up a corpse; but it is still a dead body. Politicians and bureaucrats and technocrats do not know how to manage, they only know how to spend and waste, so they resort to words, flowery and hollow words, to charm and cheat the peoples. Capitalism is serving the interest of 1 percent of the populations at the expense of the 99 percent.
For about 300 years American preachers have preached that capitalism is compatible with Christianity. By the Word of God, capitalism is not compatible with Christianity. America is practicing a phony democracy, injustice and racial discrimination.
1Ti 6:10, “For the love of money is the root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced their hearts with many pangs. ” Root in Greek is rhiza which means cause, origin, source, offspring; – it occurs about 17 times in the New Testament. The love of money is the origin of all evils. Evil is the offspring or progeny of greed. Evil in Greek is kakos which means wrong, crime, wickedness, perniciousness, destructiveness; – it occurs about 51 times in the New Testament. The evils created by capitalism or the love of money are apparent and prevalent and universal in the world. The love of money makes people wander away from the faith. Capitalism focuses on earthly things.
Col 3:1-2 , “ If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. ”
Christians are supposed to seek the things that are above, and set their minds on things that are above. Capitalism produces materialism and set the minds of people on things that are on earth.
Christianity is heavenly, but capitalism is earthly, dirty and worldly.
Hbr 13:5 , “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have; for He has said: I will never fail you nor forsake you.”
Note: People who love money, their lives are not free. They are enslaved by money. Greed is a bondage. Prosperity gospel has caused the Crystal Cathedral to file for bankruptcy, and the love of money even has ruined many preachers and their followers. Too bad many American preachers dare not preach Capitalism is not compatible with Christianity. I know even Billy Graham did not preach against the sins and crimes of the presidents and American politicians.
5. Christianity is NOT a tool of Western imperialism and colonialism.
The history of Western imperialism and colonialism is the history of atrocities, inhumanities, brutalities and injustice. Imperialism does not mean the rule of an emperor. China was a peaceful and civilized nation and had many emperors; most Chinese emperors did not have an expansionist ambition. Most Chinese emperors did not wish to have any dealing with foreign nations in particular the West. Imperialism was a Western phenomenon, an undertaking that employs oppressive “expansionist” systems, based on territorial acquisition, political domination and military suppression of other nations by the imperial power. Imperialism is both a form of polity and policy or practice. The infamous Opium Wars instigated by Britain, France, Spain, Russia, the United States, Japan and others shed the light on the vicious nature and pernicious practice of imperialists. Colonialism is a political-economic phenomenon whereby various European nations explored, conquered, demarcated, oppressed, settled, controlled, and exploited large areas of the world. Europe became very rich by economic exploitation and absorption of the colony’s natural and human resources in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Imperialism and colonialism are twin brothers of white supremacists for the expansion of power and wealth, religious and political beliefs. The U.S. uses the illegal US-Taiwan Relations Act as a pretext to control and use Taiwan as an American colony. Taiwan leaders are running dogs of America. Imperialism and colonialism represent the worst of the Western powers, the irony and iniquity is the claim made by these Western powers to be Christian nations. The justification of imperialism and colonialism was the infamous “ white man’s burden ” – the alleged duty of white peoples to bring their civilization and religion to other peoples regarded as backward or inferior. They even sent missionaries to the nations they attacked such as China where they oppressed, robbed, looted, and killed the Chinese people. How in the world do you expect the oppressed Chinese would believe in a “ religion ” that caused so much evils, atrocities and brutalities? The truth is: Christianity was not and is not the religion represented by Western imperialists and colonialists and capitalists. These white supremacists betrayed and dishonored the Lord Jesus Christ by pretending to be what they were not and what they are not. Since the end of World War II, American leaders have sought military supremacy and world domination; except President Richard Nixon who sought a just and last peace.
The clear and apparent defect of American political culture is self-gratification and boast of American power in world dominance and domination. The Democratic Party and media glorified the playboy and peacock president Kennedy, and exaggerated the blunder and Watergate and downplayed the great achievements of Richard Nixon. I have said it before, I say it again: President Richard Nixon was the only American president who sought a just and lasting peace; since the end of World War II to the present, all American presidents have been seeking absolute military supremacy and world domination. If the U.S. Constitution was so great, the U.S. government would not be responsible for inciting hundreds of unjust wars and bloody military interventions that killed millions and millions of innocent people around the world and even more millions of refugees around the world living in misery and abject poverty. The U.S. government would not be paralyzed, held hostage by special interests, and incurred the huge deficits and largest national debt of over $29 trillion …
Do you know American leaders and politicians use God to justify their imperialism, capitalism, militarism, and world dictatorship and domination? I loudly doubt as America is going the wrong direction and if the United States of America could last another hundred years. The tragedy of tragedies is the fact that American leaders mistake and treat aggression, sanction and expansion and intervention and domination hypocritically as promoting freedom, democracy, human rights, justice, rule of law and whatever good name or noble cause. American leaders obsessed with unholy ambition of being the dictators of the world, get lost in the world, not knowing their place is in North America, not in Asia Pacific or Europe. The Evil Trinity and Tyranny of Washington, Wall Street and Hollywood are the greatest threat to the United States of America. Out of hatred, envy and jealousy American leaders by hook or by crook treat China and Russia as the enemies; and they are doing everything possible to oppress, suppress, restrict, control, confront, and provoke China in all fronts. Unlike the Soviet Union, Russia is no threat to the world. America is the greatest threat to itself and to the world.
This is the truth and nothing but the truth.
There are three greatest threats to the world today:
1. The American imperialism.
2. Japanese resurgent militarism.
3. Islamic terrorism.
Jesus Christ says,
Luk 6:46 , “Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you? ”
The West was not and is not practicing Christianity as written in the Bible.
Recently an 18th-century Chinese vase was sold for world record-breaking $85.5 million at an auction in London. It must have been among the countless treasures looted by British and other Western and Japanese troops when they sacked the imperial palaces in Beijing during the second Opium War, from 1856 to 1860. This just gives you a glimpse of the whole sum (items in millions) of China’s treasures now kept in Western and Japanese and other public museums and private collections. These thefts, robberies and lootings of China’s national treasures were incredible and invaluable. According to market value, these treasures amount to at least US $100,000 trillion, not counting interest, not counting the profits made by illegal auctions, and not including the priceless Yuan Ming Yuan (the imperial summer palace) burned down by Western imperialists.
If there is any decency in these Western nations and Japan that instigated and looted China’s national treasures over the years, it is about time for them to return to China. What belong to China should return to China. The Chinese treasures and relics looted, robbed and stolen by Western nations (including America, Britain, France, etc.) and Japan amount to at least US $100,000 trillion not counting interest. In 14 years of fighting Japanese war of aggression, the evil forces of Japan destroyed or looted China’s national treasures, historic public and private properties in the sum of more than $50,000 trillion.
Mar 12:17 , “And Jesus said to them: Give back to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. And they were amazed at Him. ”
In Greek give back is apodidōmi which means to pay off, discharge what is due, return, restore, requite, recompense; – it occurs about 48 times in the New Testament.
All imperialistic powers are aggressive warmongering nations. The evils created by imperialism and colonialism are incalculable, inestimable, and immeasurable. Imperialism and colonialism are tools of evil; they are not compatible with Christianity.
Mat 26:52 , “Then Jesus said to him: Put your sword back into its place; for all who take the sword will perish by the sword. ” Imperialism and colonialism have a bloody history. All who take the sword will perish by the sword; Japan was a good example after the dropping of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki . Empires have come and gone. Where is Babylon now? Where is the Roman Empire? Where is the British Empire?… As long as humans have passions for money and power and sex, there will be wars.
Jam 4:1-2 , “What causes wars, and what causes fightings among you? Is it not your passions that are at war in your members? You desire and do not have; so you kill. And you covet and cannot obtain; so you fight and wage war. ” Passion in Greek is hēdonē which means lust, pleasure, inordinate desire; – it occurs only 5 times in the New Testament. The word hedonism comes from this Greek word. Imperialists and colonialists have used Christianity as a tool to subdue other peoples and nations, and missionaries have been used as their agents, but Christians must reject imperialism and colonialism. For imperialism and colonialism are not compatible with Christianity. Imperialism and colonialism do not know the way of peace. Jesus Christ says, Mat 5:9 , “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. ”
Note: By the same token, warmongers can be called sons of the devil.
Rom 14:19 , “Let us then pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. ”
Note: Building military bases and missile and anti-missile sites all over the world do not pursue what makes for peace and harmony. That is exactly what is wrong with imperialism and hegemonism.
2 Cr 13:11, “Finally, brethren, farewell. Mend your ways, heed my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you. ”
Note: Live in peace is the best way of life for this world. American imperialism and hegemonism wants wars to dictate and dominate the world.
Hbr 12:14 , “Strive for peace with all men, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. ”
Note: Strive in Greek is diōkō which means to run after, press on, pursue, seek after eagerly; – it occurs about 44 times in the New Testament. Peace is something that we must seek after eagerly. Militant nations know how to make wars, but they do not know how to make peace. Make war is easy, make peace is difficult.
Jam 3:18 , “And the harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. ”
Note: Western powers sow seeds of division among nations and reap the harvest of conflict and wickedness and wars.
1 Pe 3:11, “Let him turn away from evil and do right; let him seek peace and pursue it.
Let Western powers that have a history of imperialism and colonialism, turn away from evil and do right.
6. Christianity is NOT a tool of Western hegemonism.
Western hegemonism today pursues world domination under the pretext of promoting freedom and democracy, human rights and justice. Under the pretext of freedom and democracy, Western powers have done so much evils in the world. They employ “divide and conquer ” tactics. They pursue “military supremacy” to blackmail, sanction and threaten other nations. They make military alliances to target some nations. In practice, freedom and democracy are hollow and meaningless. What freedom if you are discriminated, exploited, abused, threatened, oppressed, raped, robbed, and even killed? What democracy when the system of government serves the interest of the rich and powerful? What is the use of freedom if the government does not do the will of the people? What is the use of democracy when the insiders get richer and richer while the vast majority of people get poorer and poorer? What is democracy when 1 percent of the population controls and rules over the 99 percent? Western democracy is a fraud because it does not serve the interest of the greatest number of people. The Bible does not support corrupt political system of the West.
Recently Western mainstream media fabricate fake news about Xinjiang China. American and European leaders falsely accuse China of unbelievable genocide, human rights abuses, and forced labor in Xinjiang. To tell lies and falsehoods is not being blunt. Western leaders have degraded so low that they dare to speak anything without truth. The real truth is, China is doing well in many fields and fronts; and soon China is going to be No. 1 World economy. Xinjiang produces the best quality white cotton, China is ahead in textile and garment industry, China has won over the Islamic terrorists and the Chinese citizens in Xinjiang is having liberty, prosperity and harmony. America and European leaders do not want China to surpass America as the world leader so they do anything to curb the peaceful rise of China, the success of its technology, manufacturing, trade and business by cutting supply chain, boycott and sanction of all kinds. The funny part is accusing China as security threat to America and EU. Since 1949 China has not attacked or occupied any country. The leaders of UK have no moral character and courage to tell its former colony India that the British empire illegally and unilaterally incorporated large territorial areas of China into the Indian Map to make India look bigger. The truth can solve the border conflict once and for all. Another British legacy which must be corrected if the leaders of UK have understood moral obligation. God gave the Promised Land to Abraham and his descendants some 4,000 years ago. When the Jews were scattered all over the world, the British empire colonized the Jewish land and called it Palestine. In the beginning there was Israel and no Palestine. The illegal Arabs moved into the Palestine. When Israel reestablished the Jewish State, all illegal Arabs should have moved out. United Kingdom is obliged to tell the Palestinians they have no part or portion of the Jewish State, they should look among the neighboring Arab countries to establish the Palestinian state or they can join the Arab states.

Hegemonism is a toxic combination of unholy ambition for world domination with dirty tricks of frauds and false charges plus seeking absolute military supremacy. There are two greatest threats confronting the world today, two international bad actors, namely hegemonism and terrorism, neither of them is Christian and should be rejected by the whole world.
Jdg 9:8-15 “The trees once went forth to anoint a king over them. And they said to the olive tree: Reign over us! But the olive tree said to them: Should I cease giving my oil, with which they honor God and men, and go to sway over trees? Then the trees said to the fig tree: You come and reign over us! But the fig tree said to them: Should I cease my sweetness and my good fruit, and go to sway over trees? Then the trees said to the vine: You come and reign over us! But the vine said to them: Should I cease my new wine, which cheers both God and men, and go to sway over trees? Then all the trees said to the bramble: You come and reign over us! And the bramble said to the trees: If in truth you anoint me as king over you, then come and take shelter in my shade; but if not, let fire come out of the bramble and devour the cedars of Lebanon! ” White supremacists want to reign over other peoples and nations although they do not have oil to honor God and men, they do not have sweetness and good fruit, they do not have new wine to cheer both God and men, they do not have anything (except nuclear weapons) to deserve to rule and to sway over the world. Western hegemonism is not compatible with Christianity. They lie and kill and rob people without shame.
It is a historical fact that Western powers have used Christianity as an imperial tool to oppress China, especially the Roman Catholic Church the monolithic politico-religious organization which is called the State of Vatican under pope. Consequently China may have a negative attitude about Christianity. Western powers make a total false presentation. Christianity is not a Western religion. The United States of America is not a Christian nation, in fact it is the most secular and un-Christian nation in the world. How?
(A). America is practicing a false version of Christianity because it embraces the prevalent values of money, power and sex which are contrary to the Christian value of faith, hope and love.
(B). The U.S. Supreme Court outlaws prayers and Bible reading in public schools.
(C). The U.S. Supreme Court legalizes homosexuality and recognize same-sex marriage which is an abomination in the sight of God.
(D). The United States is a very greedy and violent nation which violates the teaching of Christ.
Mat 23:25 , “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.”
Col 3:5 , “Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.” Although most Americans do not worship idols (except primitive immigrants), however most Americans worship money. Greed is the same sin as idolatry. People who represent Wall Street, Washington, and Hollywood are experts in greed. Wall Street created an economic and financial crisis in 2008 which looted the world more than $50 trillion.
(E). Most Americans give to church not because they love Christ but because they get tax deductions.
(F). Many who call themselves Christians (including people who call themselves pastors or ministers) commit sexual immorality and divorce which Christ forbids. The American way of life is not the Christian way of life.
(G). Christianity is not represented by any nation; it is hypocritical that the U.S. has religious freedom envoy or ambassador to represent Christianity. Christianity has nothing to do with the United States of America, it only disgracefully distorts Christianity. Jesus Christ does not authorize any nation or organization or individual to represent Christianity.
(H). Falun Gong is a cult with political ambition. If America believes Falun Gong is a religion; it is fine to welcome of members of Falun Gong to immigrate to America. It would not a spectacular to watch 10,000 Falun Gong members encircling the White House or the Capitol in practice of their religion.
(I). The followers of Dalai Lama, a high-paid foreign agent used by Western powers to divide and destroy China has failed miserably as he is coming to the end of his life, do use riots under the cover of religion for political reason. China has every right to crackdown on any subversive or unlawful activity under the cloak of religion.
I do hope Chinese government and leaders realize true Christians are not agents of foreign imperial powers to do subversive work to destabilize China. I do hope Chinese Christians may have the right to freely proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ anywhere and establish churches without permission of any state authority or the Three-Self-Reliant Organization. History has taught it is a very bad thing for any organization or nation to have monopoly of religion. That was how the Roman Catholic Church became an apostate church that disgraced Christianity.
7. Christianity is NOT a supporter of Western values.
Western values are secular, Christianity teaches spiritual values. Western values of money, power and sex are contrary to the Christian values of faith, hope and love. I cannot find any sin or crime which is not related to the love of money, power and sex.

Avoid such people. ”

Note: Wall Street has looted the whole world US$50 trillion through creating the recent economic and financial crisis in 2008. Wall Street created billionaires who did nothing of value except gamble on other people’s money. Washington has incurred the largest debts and deficits in the world exceeding $29 trillion. Politicians and bureaucrats live in lavish lifestyle at taxpayers’ expense. All former presidents have become multi-millionaires, and many more high-ranking officials through buying and selling influence also have become multi-millionaires。
Psa 62:11, “Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God. ”
Note: Power belongs to God. When power is in the hand of man, it corrupts. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Government is the monopoly of power. For that reason, it produces dictators and corrupt officials and self-serving bureaucrats. The biggest character flaw of a white supremacist is that he seeks power over others just as a hegemonist nation seeks power over other nations. The bigger power a man has, the more dangerous he becomes. You see the arrogance of Wall Street business executives because they have power. You see the arrogance of Washington because they have power. Wall Street and Washington exercise power over peoples and nations. The Babylon of corruption. For example, Pilate said to Jesus: “Do you not know that I have power…? ”
Jhn 19:10 , “Pilate therefore said to him: You will not speak to me? Do you not know that I have power to release you, and power to crucify you?”
Note: All little men become puffed up when they have power? An arrogant preacher of prosperity gospel said, “Do you know who I am? ” A son of a politician who killed a person in drunk driving said, “Do you know who my father is? ” For the same reason, children and adults in the West like to play with guns. For guns have power to kill people. Psychopathic persons like to kill people to demonstrate they have power. For that reason, a police is dangerous because he has gun and he can kill people.
Sometimes police are more dangerous than criminals. You know criminals will kill people but you do not expect a police to kill people and abuse his power. In America police brutality in killing people at will become force for demonstrations for justice. All warmongers and terrorists are inflicted with the disease of power syndrome. A desire to have power over people is a most dangerous and deadly desire.
People who have power can abuse and mistreat and even torture people without cause. The West uses World Bank, IMF and WTO to work and strengthen the advantages of Western powers over other nations in order to perpetuate their status of domination and exploitation of the world. The West uses NATO and alliances to have military bases and missile bases all over the world to achieve absolute military supremacy. Having absolute military supremacy, Western powers can blackmail and threaten and oppress any nation. The political, economic, financial, and military systems of the world tilt in favor of Western alliances. The Western mass media spreads fake news, disinformation, misinformation and the culture of violence, greed, and degradation.
A journalist who does not know the Lord wrote, “What I’m not saying is that Christianity should be disengaged from politics. In fact, the early Christian movement was born in politics, in oppositional circles within Judaism fighting Roman oppression. There is great debate over how to understand the relationship between Jesus’ spirituality and his approach to politics, but his preaching clearly challenged the powers-that-be. He was, after all, crucified. ” Absolutely false. This is a rotten distortion and misrepresentation of Christianity. There was no early Christian political movement. The Kingdom of God does not belong to this world. Christ’s kingdom is not of this world. It was the great commission of Jesus Christ to proclaim the Gospel to the whole world.
Mat 28:19 ,“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
Jesus Christ did not come into the world to fight Roman oppression. Jesus did not lead a revolution to overthrow the evil Roman Empire. The truth is the liberating force; the truth does not need liberating. Jesus declares, Jhn 8:32 ,“And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
1Ti 1:15 ,“This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.”
Note: Jesus Christ came into the world, sent by the Father, to save sinners. The mission of Jesus Christ was spiritual, not political; heavenly, not earthly. With regard to Jesus’ approach to politics, Jhn 18:36,“Jesus answered: My Kingdom is not of this world. If My Kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My Kingdom is not of this realm.” In truth, there is no Christendom. There is no Christian nationalism. There is no Christian republicanism. This is the root cause of confusion and conflict by which the founders of Western imperialism and colonialism used Christianity to serve its secular goal of world domination. Western powers have used Christianity as a tool to conquer the world and oppress China and other nations. The West is practicing a false version of Christianity. Many American presidents and those aspire to be presidents had and have used Christianity to advance their ambition.

Christianity is not a Western religion; the West has disgraced and distorted Christianity. Prosperity gospel is a false gospel born of greed, love of money and the world.
1Ti 6:17 , “Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.”
Note: Christians do not fix their hope on this present world which capitalists do. The prevalent values of the West are money, power and sex. The Christian values are faith, hope and love.
1Cr 15:19 ,“If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied.”
Western way of life is geared to this life only. Christian way of life is geared to the life to come – eternity. The Western values of money, power and sex have ruined the West and the world.
In summary, what the Westerners seek are earthly, material, and carnal things of this world. Christians seek heavenly, spiritual and eternal things. Christianity is not compatible with the Western way of life.
Hbr 11:16 ,“But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a City for them.”
Note: Christians desire a better country than anyone in the world; that is a heavenly one. The Holy City is the New Jerusalem.
1Cr 2:9 , “But as it is written: The things which God has prepared for those who love Him, no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and have not entered into the heart of man.”
“The Easter season is a celebration of deliverance, and the liturgical calendar sets Easter Week up as a kind of catharsis.” No, Easter is neither a liturgy nor a catharsis.
Mar 16:6 , “And he (angel) said to them: Do not be surprised; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen; He is not here; behold, here is the place where they laid Him.” Easter has to do with the historical and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. The empty tomb is the evidence of the power of God.
Rom 4:24-25 , “But also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness–for us who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.”
The two cardinal doctrines of Christianity: Jesus died for sinners and was raised to life for our justification. Please read JUSTIFICATION .
Rom 10:9 ,“If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Liberation gospel is a political gospel, a false gospel. Christianity is rooted in the idea of salvation, the salvation of souls. Rom 1:16 ,“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”
2Th 2:13 ,“But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.” A man without the Holy Spirit cannot know the faith in the truth. The Christian faith is not based on Augustine or any philosopher, but based entirely on the Son of God and the Savior of the world. Jhn 14:6 , “Jesus said to him: I AM the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” Jesus Christ is the only way to God, the only way to have salvation, this is the truth.
Western nations have the un-Christian values of money, power, and sex.
8. Christianity is the teachings of Jesus Christ and the faith that He is our God and Savior.
Christianity is defined by Jesus Christ as it is written in the Bible, specifically the New Testament. The interpretations of men cannot define Christianity. The interpretations of men contrary to the teachings of Christ are false and heretic. Christianity is a monotheistic faith essentially distinguished from other religions by the fact that in it everything is crucially connected to the person of and work accomplished by Jesus of Nazareth. The historical Jesus was the true Jesus – God who became Man. The work of Jesus Christ was not primarily healing the sick or performing miracles (although He did); it was the redemption of mankind by His vicarious and substitutionary death on the cross. Jesus Christ came to save sinners from eternal death.
Christianity is the monotheistic religion based on the
life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth as presented in
the New Testament. Among the three largest groups which claim to be Christian, the Roman Catholic Church , the Eastern Orthodox , and the Protestantism; Protestantism is by far better and closer resemblance of stemming from the teachings of Jesus in the 1st century both in belief and practice. Monotheistic religion is not necessarily Christian, for example Unitarianism, Islam, etc. Christianity is not only monotheistic but Biblical. Judaism is the monotheistic religion according to the Old Testament. Christians believe especially the New Testament, also the Old Testament. The New Testament fulfilled the Old Testament, just as Christianity fulfilled Judaism.
The sacred Scripture of Christianity is the Holy Bible , particularly the New Testament . Its principal doctrines are that Jesus is the Son of God (the second Person of the Holy Trinity ), that God’s love for the world is the essential nature of His being, and that Jesus Christ died to redeem humankind. Christianity was originally an obedience of Jews
who accepted Jesus as the Messiah , and the obedience to the Great Commission to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ quickly became global and including much of the Gentile world.
The early church was led by the apostles presiding in Jerusalem as directed by the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ was the Head of the church; His apostles were ministers of the church. The authority of the apostles was given by Jesus Christ and led by the Holy Spirit who was and is the sole Representative of Jesus Christ on earth. The pope or any man is not the representative of Christ on earth. You cannot say that Paul or Peter or John shaped the early church; they were only instruments in the hand of God.
1Cr 1:1 , “Paul, called by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus, and our brother Sosthenes. ”
Jam 1:1 , “James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes in the Dispersion: Greeting. ”
2Pe 1:1 , “Simeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained a faith of equal standing with ours in the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ. ”
Jud 1:1 , “Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James, to those who are called, beloved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ. ”
Rev 1:9 , “I John, your brother, who share with you in Jesus the tribulation and the Kingdom and the patient endurance, was on the island called Patmos on account of the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus. ” These were the convictions and views of the apostles as they were called to be servants of Jesus Christ.
The apostles and early disciples were not church fathers. The idea of church fathers is un-Scriptural. Clement of Rome, Ignatius of Antioch, Polycarp of Smyrna, Origen of Alexandria, John Chrysostom, Tertullian, Augustine of Hippo, etc. were not fathers of the church. The Church of Jesus Christ has only one Father who is God. The false idea of church fathers was originated by the Roman Catholic Church. Jesus Christ says,
Mat 23:9 , “And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in Heaven. ” The Word of Jesus is supreme and final. Jesus Christ says,
Jhn 6:63 , “It is the Spirit that gives life, the flesh is of no avail; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. ”
Jhn 20:17, “Jesus said to her: Do not hold Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brethren and say to them: I am ascending to My Father and your Father, to My God and your God.” God is the Father of Christians – the followers of Jesus Christ.
1Cr 8:6 , “Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist. ”
Note: God the Father and the Son are One. For Christ says, Jhn 10:30 , “I and the Father are One.”
Eph 4:6 , “One God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all. ”
Jam 1:17, “Every good endowment and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. ”
Although it is impossible to present an exhaustive summary of all that Christianity is and has ever been and will forever be; Christianity can be succinctly said to be the personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
This article is not trying to sketch some of the main points in the history of Christianity; it mainly presents Jesus Christ as our God and Savior.
Tts 2:13-14 , “Looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.” The Word of God does not require a consensus of men, much less a majority consensus. The Bible speaks for itself and interprets itself.
Jhn 14:6 , “Jesus said to him: I AM the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. ” Jesus Christ is the only Way to God, this is the Truth. If you believe the truth in Christ, you will have Life.
Jhn 17:3 , “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. ”
This is the simple essence of Christianity. If you don’t know this, everything else you know would not matter. The words of eternal life do not need human agreement or affirmation.
Christianity is a historical religion in the sense the Christian faith is historical, with real people and real time and place – it is not fairy tale or myth. It appears as the central events of human history both the redemption it promises and the revelation to which it lays claim: Jesus was born under Caesar Augustus and “suffered under Pontius Pilate,” at particular dates in the chronology of the history of Rome. In this respect Christianity shows its continuing affinities with the Judaism because Christianity fulfilled Judaism, in the progressive revelation of Divine dispensation. Dispensation means the divine management of periods of time. The primal revelation for Judaism is the divine declaration to Moses,
Exd 3:6 , “I am the God of your father – the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” To this primal revelation Christianity adds the assertion,
Hbr 1:1 -3 , “GOD, who at myriad times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed Heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His Person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.” The Scripture cited above definitively describes the historical process of progressive revelation and capsulizes the succinct summary of the substance of Christianity. Christianity is centered in the incarnation, life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus, the Christ, the anointed and chosen One of God， the coming King of kings and Lord of lords.
All Christians believe Jesus is the Son of God,
God having become human and the Savior of the world, and this is commonly referred to Jesus as Christ or Messiah . Christians believe that Jesus is the Messiah prophesied in the Hebrew Bible (the part of Scripture common to Christianity and Judaism, and referred to as the “Old Testament”). The foundation of Christian theology is based in the early writings of the apostles (the New Testament) which contain claims universally accepted and believed by followers of the Christian faith. These professions state that Jesus suffered, died, was buried, and was resurrected from the dead by the power of God to open Heaven to those who believe in Him and trust Him for the remission of their sins . The Bible maintains that Jesus Christ bodily ascended into Heaven where He rules and reigns with God the Father . All Christian churches teach as it is written that Jesus will return to judge all humans, living and dead, and grant eternal life to His followers and send the wicked to Hell for eternal punishment. Christ is considered the model of a sinless and perfect life, and both the revealer and physical incarnation of God. The Bible calls the message of Jesus Christ the Gospel (“good news”) and hence refers to the earliest written accounts of His ministry as Gospels.
Christianity as the revealed religion was not founded in Palestine by the followers of Jesus. The disciples and apostles proclaimed the Gospel in all the world. Christianity is not an evolutionary theism. Christianity is unlike all other world’s major religions. All other religions are man-made religions, Christianity is the revealed religion.
In Conclusion,
Western imperialism, colonialism, capitalism, militarism and hegemonism are not compatible with Christianity. It is a great fallacy to think Christianity is a Western religion.
This does not mean white Christians have never done anything good. In fact they had. It does not mean there have never been white missionaries who were true believers and servants of Christ. There were, in this I am thinking of my great friend, Dr. Arthur Mouw, the great missionary to Borneo. It simply means Western powers have abused Christianity, disgraced themselves and dishonored the Lord Jesus, and many Western missionaries were agents of imperialists, colonialists, capitalists and hegemonists and betrayed their faith.
Whether Western powers decline or not, whether Western civilization degrades or perishes or not – is not as important as whether you know Jesus Christ or not.
Jesus Christ says,
Mat 7:13 , “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. ”
No matter what race you belong to, what color of your skin, your educational background, your socio-economic class, etc. in the end there are only two groups of people in the judgment of God.
Mat 25:31-34,41,46, “When the Son of man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. Before Him will be gathered all the nations, and He will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, and He will place the sheep at His right hand, but the goats at the left. Then the King will say to those at His right hand: Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 。。。 Then He will say to those at His left hand: Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels; 。。。 And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Which group do you belong to? Do you belong to the sheep at the right or the goats at the left? Are you the righteous or the wicked? I do not know Pastor Robert Jeffress. The liberal media accused him of religious bigotry because he said he does not believe Mitt Romney is a Christian. I too do not believe Romney is a Christian, because he is a Mormon. A person is not a bigot who says what is true. A Mormon is not a Christian just as a Christian is not a Mormon. A Mormon is a follower of Joseph Smith. A Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ. If Mitt Romney denounces Joseph Smith and declares that he accepts and believes in Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Savior, then I might believe Romney is a Christian. I applaud Robert Jeffress for courage to say the truth. To speak the truth is not religious bigotry. Mormonism is not compatible with Christianity. I want you to know I do not believe any former living or current U.S. president is a Christian either. For two reasons ：
Firstly, you cannot be a disciple of Jesus Christ and support same-sex marriage and homosexuality.
Secondly, you cannot be a Christian and an evolutionist at the same time. There is a former president who often advertises himself as a born-again Christian, but he believes in evolution.
To believe in evolution is to deny the word of Jesus Christ. For Jesus says: Mar 10:6 , “But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.” You cannot claim to be a Christian and reject the Word of Christ and believe in evolution. Some Taiwanese leaders and politicians claim to be Christians and yet they publicly worships idols on TV. For that reason I have warned them publicly. A Christian cannot worship God and idols. No matter how Taiwan develops its religion, it is not legitimate for a Christian to worship idols. Idolatry is a grave sin against Holy God. If those Taiwanese politicians are true Christians, they have to repent and give up idols. If they want to worship idols, then do not claim to be Christians. Idolatry is not compatible with Christianity. The previous Taiwanese leader is also a false Christian and a Chinese traitor; he professes to be a Christian only to solicit American military support for his political cause and he also publicly worships idols. The Taiwanese politicians cannot follow anybody in worshiping idols and claiming to be Christians at the same time. Those Taiwanese politicians must come clean one way or another. Christianity is not a man-made religion; it is the revealed religion of Jesus Christ. There is no hanky-panky to be Christians.
Thirdly, all American leaders lie, lie, and lie; kill, kill, and kill; destroy, destroy, and destroy; rob, rob, and rob other nations and peoples. People who lie, kill, destroy and rob are children of the devil; not children of God. Warmongers and aggressors and imperialists are children of the devil.

Mitt Romney was not the right leader for America, not because he is a Mormon but because he was not suitable to lead America. For Romney is a protectionist and probably a supremacist and interventionist. Unfortunately, since President Richard Nixon, there has not been a right American leader.
9. Christianity never becomes lethal.
There have been many false charges against Christianity; this one is sensational, senseless and sinful. An unbeliever and pseudo-scholar wrote, When Christianity becomes lethal. This is a contradiction in terms. Ignorance has no value, false charge incurs divine judgment. This line of accusation is like those of old who said Jesus had a demon.
Jhn 7:17-21,“If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.”
Did not Moses give you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill Me? The people answered and said: You have a demon. Who is seeking to kill You? Jesus answered and said to them: I did one work, and you all marvel.” Imagine the Son of God whom the demons fear had a demon?
Mat 26:52 ,“Then Jesus said to him: Put your sword back into its place; for all those who take up the sword will perish by the sword.”
Note: Jesus condemns warmongers, they will perish by the sword. Jesus condemns terrorists, they will die by the sword. Suicidal bombers killed others and themselves thinking they will go to paradise to enjoy sexual pleasure with many virgins as their wives. How ludicrous and ridiculous! What an absurd religion! What an insane and insidious religion! Christianity is never lethal because Jesus is the Savior of the world. No murderer can claim to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. A murderer is a son of the devil.

Jhn 8:44 , “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” Anyone who kills his father is the devil who is the murderer from the beginning. The father of terrorists, warmongers, and murderers is the devil. I do not know whether this pseudo-scholar is a murderer or not, it is sure all who charge that Christianity is lethal are liars. The devil is the father of all liars. The devil is the father of all murderers and liars. This is the truth of Jesus Christ. To call a mass murderer a “Christian fundamentalist” is also a misnomer. Let me tell you some of Christian fundamentalists I know such as G. Campbell Morgan, R. A. Torrey , J. C. Ryle , James Orr , Benjamin B. Warfield , H. C. G. Moule , James M. Gray, W. H. Griffith Thomas , Wang Ming Tao and many noble and great Christians. Fundamentalists are basically Christians who oppose Modernists that deny Jesus is the Son of God and who deny the Bible is the infallible Word of God. Furthermore, white and black supremacists are not Christians; they are imperialists, colonialists, hegemonists, capitalists and warmongers. The world belongs to them and they belong to the world.
Anyone or any nation that uses Christianity as a lethal weapon is an agent of the devil.
10. Christianity is Christ’s Teaching.
Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ according to the Bible. There cannot be Christianity without Christ. Christianity is based on the Holy Bible, the Word of God. Christianity is according to the Words of Jesus Christ, the Truth of Christ. Christianity is not based on tradition or the teachings of men or any church. Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church. The Holy Spirit is now the sole Representative of Christ on earth, not the pope or any man.
Jhn 8:23 ,“And He said to them: You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.”
Jhn 18:36 , “Jesus answered: My Kingdom is not of this world. If My Kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My Kingdom is not from here.”
Eph 2:19 ,“Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.”
Phl 3:20 ,“For our citizenship is in Heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Note: No Christian teaching inspires terrorism. Mat 26:52 ,“But Jesus said to him: Put your sword in its place, for all who take up the sword will perish by the sword.” True Christians believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior of the world, and the Bible is the infallible Word of God. Christians are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God. Christian citizenship is in Heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the second coming of Jesus Christ to be King of kings and Lord of lords.
On the other hand, to have sympathy with an evil religion that practices polygamy, bigamy, oppression of girls and women, beheading those converted to Christianity, teaching suicide bombers will have more than 10 virgins to be their wives in paradise for them to enjoy sexual pleasure, etc. – does not make one a Christian.
By chance in mid-September I came across an ad of Billy Graham as
follows:
“ In [Jesus] name the nations will put their hope” –Matthew 12:21 NIV If you live in the typical American community–with 100 average neighbors–here’s the reality: 7 of your neighbors struggle with depression, even contemplating suicide; 7 abuse or are addicted to drugs or alcohol; 8 are struggling with unemployment; and 60 don’t profess to know Jesus Christ as their Savior.
The picture is bleak, but there is hope. Jesus Christ can transform lives that are burdened with fear, insecurity, uncertainty, and pain and offer joy and peace, now and for all eternity. By signing this declaration, you stand with Billy Graham in proclaiming that our nation needs this Good News.

This is a most misleading and confusing statement. If it means this: “If the sinful American leaders would confess their sins and repent, there is hope because Jesus Christ can save.” – that I fully subscribe and support. I can honestly and truthfully say, “In fact, I do not have hope for America because of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ condemns the American leaders who are proven liars and killers and robbers as children of the devil. ”
Jhn 8:44, “You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie , he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
I am afraid that simple Graham’s statement might have the meanings contrary to the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I do not have hope with anyone no matter how famous or popular he may be; my hope is in my Lord Jesus Christ. Billy Graham had personal knowledge of American presidents from Truman or Eisenhower down, he cannot claim ignorance. Yet he never preaches against the evil deeds of American presidents. I do not know any American preacher who has preached against the sins of American presidents and officials. Probably Billy Graham had been blinded by Americanism and patriotism; or more likely he is not John the Baptist who dared to rebuke the king. Some preachers are so proud because they have been briefed by the White House. That is his personal matter whether Graham condemned the evil deeds of American presidents or not; what I oppose is the misrepresentation of the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is not one evangelical preacher who dares to say, America is practicing a false version of Christianity. There is not one fundamental American preacher who dares to preach against capitalism and imperialism as incompatible with Christianity. I say to you: the American way of life is the wrong way of life. I am pessimistic about America because I do not believe American leaders and politicians will change and repent of their sins in giving up the evil empire and return to a respectable republic.
I have no problem with what Jesus Christ is able to do and save, I have problems in believing American leaders and people would change their values and aggressive behavior. American problems are made by American leaders, politicians and people and they are Made in the U.S.A. American leaders, politicians and people know the Good News in Jesus Christ, but they are not willing to repent and believe.
(1) . You cannot declare something in His name and that automatically Jesus Christ will offer you hope. Hope is not something you have by declaration. America has rejected God by word and deed. Obama is the first U.S. president who endorses homosexuality (there are many pagan leaders of nations who even oppose and condemn homosexuality on ground of morality) and supports legalization of same-sex marriage. The hypocrisy and duplicity, immorality, arrogance and greed practiced by American leaders and officials are of the highest order in the world. American leaders rule and dictate the world by their absolute military, political, economic, financial, technological, trade and diplomatic power.
(2) . The evil empire of America since the end of World War II has incited and instigated and executed many unjust wars and bloody military interventions of brutal and deadly nature under false pretenses and pretexts which have killed millions of innocent civilians around the world. Not one American leader or official would admit all the lies and evil deeds and murders that America has done so far. On the contrary American leaders always lift up high the banners of righteousness (such as democracy, human rights, freedom, rule of law, responsibility, security, humanitarianism, justice, etc.) to justify their evil deeds or exploitation and oppression through wars of aggression and destruction.
(3) . For about 300 years American churches have adulterous and sinful symbiotic relationship with American government because American preachers have implicitly and tacitly supported American capitalism and imperialism.
Jhn 5:38-40, “You do not have His Word abiding in you, for you do not believe Him whom He sent. You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.” There is no hope for those who are unwilling to come to Jesus that they may have life. Jesus Christ says, Jhn 6:37 : “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.” There is hope for all who come to Christ because Jesus will certainly not cast them out. You do not need to trust the false teacher John Calvin, but you can trust the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jhn 10:26-27, “But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”
Here is a burning question for Billy Graham: Do you really believe all the American presidents you know who claim to be Christians are sheep of Jesus, and they hear His voice and follow Him? Too late Billy Graham is already dead, he cannot answer the question.
(4). Eph 2:12 , “Remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world .”
America has rejected the teaching of Jesus Christ, how can there be any hope for America? The Bible makes it clear: Without God and without hope. I do not have hope for children of the devil because of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ describes and defines liars and killers as children of the devil. When you know American leaders fit the description and definition of Jesus Christ, how can anyone say “I have hope for America because of Jesus Christ”? Can we hope for something which is contrary to the teaching of Christ? Can I hope gays and homosexuals to be admitted to the Kingdom of Heaven because of Jesus Christ? The phrase “because of Jesus Christ” seems to be used as a cover for the damned, cursed, and condemned.
(5). There is no hope for a warmonger, liar and murderer. There is no hope for a nation and people who love money, power and sex above everything. Hope in not grounded in absolute military supremacy. No leaders can stand on lies and falsehood and have hope. Knowing the fear of God, I tried to persuade one American president with total failure. I hope in the Lord that America would change, so I have written the following articles:

We can only have hope in our God and Savior, Jesus Christ. There is no other way. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. The Scriptures prove the true hope, not only for America, but for the whole world:
Tts 2:11-14,“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.”
America cannot and does not offer hope. The way it goes, I do not believe America can last another 100 years. America does not have hope outside of Christ. Only the redeemed have the blessed hope. America, China, UK, Australia, Japan, France, Germany and all kingdoms of this world will all vanish. My kingdom is not of this world. My only hope lies in the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus.
Gal 1:6 -7,“I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the Gospel of Christ.”
Note: A different gospel is an attempt to distort the Gospel of Christ, just like counterfeit money distorts genuine money, and falsehood distorts the truth. A famous black preacher admitted he believed and preached social gospel, but social gospel and others such as political gospel (liberation theology), prosperity gospel (capitalistic gospel), possibility gospel, positive thinking gospel, etc. are not based on the Word of God, they are false gospels because they distort the Gospel of Christ.
It was reported (Oct 18, 2010) the birthplace of prosperity gospel, Crystal Cathedral, filed for bankruptcy. The ministry of its founder was discredited. Apparently, the false gospel had no power to save its cathedral from bankruptcy. The possibility thinking or positive thinking had neither power over its debt nor influence over its creditors. Offering to church is not a path to prosperity or an investment that will bring wealth as some false teachers preach. They only make prosperity gospel preachers rich. Those who preach material blessings above spiritual blessings are false prophets and false preachers. As the Bible says, the love of money is the root of all evil. False gospel cannot stand the test of time, only the Gospel of Jesus Christ is powerful to save those who believe and it is eternal because God is eternal.
On Easter Sunday （April 8, 2012）I met a white couple from Tasmania, Australia, at a church. I told them many American churches have apostatized and some preachers preached the false gospel called prosperity gospel. The American values are money, power and sex. I explained that false preachers preached that if you give money to their church or ministry, God will open up heaven and pour down blessings on you and make you rich – how it is contrary to the teaching of Jesus Christ. You follow Jesus Christ not with a goal of getting rich; if you are rich, give your money to the poor. I also told them, the Crystal Cathedral, the American center of prosperity gospel, has gone bankrupt. The Christian lady asked, “Is it true?” When I reaffirmed, she spontaneously said: “Amen!” It suddenly dawned on me, Christians everywhere, no matter what national or racial background, who believe in the one true faith, who love the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible as the Word of God, all have common aspirations and same feelings about spiritual things. All condemn heresy and false gospels.
When you mix faith, fame, family and fortune, they form an explosive situation. The prosperity gospel is toxic and it has stained and ruined quite a few well-known individuals who were “anointed” to advance and enrich themselves displayed in shameless lavish lifestyle. Those who employ all kinds of secular technologies and formats to attract audience are bound to fail. Just as all fads will lose their charms. Fancy slogans are not the Gospel truths. The members of the Church of Jesus Christ increase by the power of the Holy Spirit as it was done at the early church.
Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, it does not depend on the charm and charisma and craft of any individual. It is a great suspect when a preacher becomes a millionaire. In the first place, the idea of spiritual empire is un-Scriptural. It is wrong and immoral for a charismatic preacher to raise funds everywhere in the name of Christ or the Gospel to build business centers for the benefits of his off-springs or descendants as legacy or inheritance. Donations are for the cause of Christ, not individuals. For the church is not a family business or family fortune of anyone. As Gamaliel said, “And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it—lest you even be found to fight against God.”( Act 5:38-39) If the work of Crystal Cathedral was of men, it will come to nothing as it was happening. Time has told the truth. Prosperity gospel is definitely a false gospel. “I need more help from you. If you are a tither, become a double-tither. If you are not a tither, become a tither. This ministry has earned your trust. This ministry has earned your help.” This sounds like Oral Roberts some years ago who disgracefully begged for money with the pretext of having a “vision” from Jesus. This kind of appeal is un-Biblical; over the years some American preachers have dishonored the Lord. Remember the preacher who had his picture taken at a studio with a fake facade of the Great Wall and proclaimed he was preaching the Gospel in China and therefore asking for money?
How in the world using “Biblical” money management would get a church into debts of more than $43 million? The Bible says, “Owe no one anything.” ( Rom 13:8) NIV translates, “Let no debt remain outstanding.” Apostle Paul said, “Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.” ( Phl 4:11-12 ) Unlike Paul, some American infamous preachers only know how to live in lavish lifestyle. “Tough times never last. Tough people do.” Let us see how tough people last and do without begging for money in the name of Jesus Christ? If you give money to support a false church or false preachers, you do not lay up treasures in heaven, you only waste your money to make false preachers rich. The fact that the church which preaches the prosperity gospel was filling for bankruptcy proves the fallacy of the prosperity gospel. The prosperity gospel is a false gospel.
The following is an updated information:
Crystal Cathedral was the center of a false gospel called prosperity gospel. Preachers of prosperity gospel are false preachers. The fact that the Crystal Cathedral has gone bankrupt is a de facto and actual proof that prosperity gospel they preach is a false gospel. Prosperity gospel does not bring prosperity even to the Crystal Cathedral, much less to its followers. The church is not a family business or private enterprise or a spiritual empire to enrich family members. The fact Crystal Cathedral had fired three relatives of the megachurch’s founder tells something is structurally and seriously wrong with the church from the start. The church of Jesus Christ does not belong to the sons and daughters, sons-in-law or daughters-in-law, relatives and friends of any preacher or pastor, directors or producers, elders or deacons, etc. The Crystal Cathedral has sold its church to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange tells you the monolithic Roman Catholic Church is very rich.
There are ways to determine if a preacher is false preacher or not:
(A) . 1Ti 6:3-5,“If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.”
Note: If a preacher preaches a false gospel, he must be a false preacher, unsound in doctrine. No one who is untrue to the Word of God is a servant of Christ. Prosperity gospel is a false gospel; and there are many other false gospels such as political gospel, social gospel, feminist gospel, racial gospel, capitalistic gospel, possibility thinking gospel, positive thinking gospel, etc.
(B). 1Ti 3:2-5 ,“A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?)”
Note: What is required of a bishop is required of all preachers. If a preacher is greedy for money, a lover of money, he is a false preacher.
(C). Gal 5:19-21 ,“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”
Note: If a preacher commits adultery or homosexuality, he is a false preacher.
(D). 1Th 2:3-7 ,“For our exhortation did not come from error or uncleanness, nor was it in deceit. But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts. For neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, nor a cloak for covetousness–God is witness. Nor did we seek glory from men, either from you or from others, when we might have made demands as apostles of Christ. But we were gentle among you, just as a nursing mother cherishes her own children.”
Note: If a preacher is abusive, oppressive, deceitful, and seeks glory from men and mistreats people, he is a false preacher. Some years ago in Orange County, California, a preacher had his picture taken at a studio with a mockup background of the Great Wall and he made a televised appeal by asking for donation because he was preaching in China. That was a deceitful act. A true servant of Christ cannot be deceitful.
1Pe 5:2-3,“ Tend the flock of God that is your charge, not by constraint but willingly, not for shameful gain but eagerly, not as domineering over those in your charge but being examples to the flock. ”
Note： The Scripture cited above spells out the required character, conduct, and attitude of every preacher or pastor.
Act 20:24 , “But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the Gospel of the grace of God.”
Note: Regarding the article written by Franklin Graham (July 22, 2012),some comment is needed.
(A). It is not appropriate to say “Jesus is a model on how to the church should respond to HIV/AIDS.” In the first place Jesus is not a model of this and a model of that. Jesus is the Lord, the Savior of the world. Jesus came into the world “to save sinners,” which was the primary; “to heal the sick” was secondary. The commandment that Jesus Christ gave to the apostles and all believers as He ascended to Heaven,
Mar 16:15-16, “And He said to them: Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.”
The supreme responsibility of the Church of Jesus Christ is to proclaim the Gospel to every creature, not to do social work, or anything else. It is fine and good if the Lord leads a person to do the work of charity or responding to the needs of those who suffer HIV/AIDS and other illness.
It does not mean the universal Church of Jesus Christ has to respond when one man has a social agenda, etc. Once I heard a Chinese pastor was so proud in announcing he was back from 3-month training in social work in Denmark. Social work is not preaching the Gospel. The ministry of the Gospel is not social work, it is spiritual work in reaching sinners and winning souls with the Gospel of salvation.
(B) . It is not appropriate to compare HIV/AIDS with leprosy in Bible times. In the first place no one knew exactly how a person got leprosy in Bible times, not necessarily caused by one’s own behavior. Today how to get HIV/AIDS is very clear and well known. You can get HIV/AIDS by your own conduct. HIV/AIDS can be contracted through blood, body fluids, sexual intercourse, dirty needles, etc. If you do not commit sexual promiscuity or have sex with one infected with HIV/AIDS, or through contaminated blood transfusion, etc. you will never have HIV/AIDS. If you are a homosexual, drug addict, and perform sexual immorality, etc. your chances of getting HIV/AIDS are very high. Once I watched a TV interview, a young white woman maintained her virginity a long time until one day she had sex with a man the first time and she got AIDS. It was heart-breaking. This information is free and does not cost anything. Young and unmarried people should abstain from sex, married couple should be faithful and do not commit extramarital affair. Clean and moral conduct is the best prevention of HIV/AIDS, and you do not need to go to a university or hospital for this instruction.
(C) . It is dangerous to cite politicians as model Christians as if they were God’s appointed or represent the cause of Jesus Christ because there are many American politicians who are warmongers, liars, corrupt and greedy officials, supremacists and racists, and children of darkness. Many politicians want God to be on their side but they are not on God’s side. Too many politicians use Christ and the Gospel to advance or strengthen their political position and power. It is bad to mix politics with religion because politics is inherently corrupt. Political leaders who support and legalize same-sex marriage and homosexuality are not compatible with Christianity. Political gospel, social gospel and prosperity gospel are NOT the true Gospel. The treachery is for the Church to stress the physical above the spiritual, the material over the moral.
(D). It is wrong to say “no matter what they have done in life, God still loves them and He will forgive them.” Jesus says,
Luk 13:5 ,“I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.” There is no automatic forgiveness because God is love. To receive forgiveness of sins, sinners need to repent and believe in Jesus Christ.
Mat 11:20 ,“Then He began to denounce the cities in which most of His miracles were done, because they did not repent.”
Mar 1:15 ,“And saying: The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the Gospel.”
Act 2:38 ,“Peter said to them: Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
I do not know Robert Schuller and not a friend of his. By chance I came across in mid-September 2013 the sad news that Mr. Schuller, 86, had been diagnosed with cancer, has a fist-sized tumor in his esophagus that has spread to his lymph nodes. Probably Robert Schuller was not far from death. Everyone will die anyway sooner or later, that is not what I am concerned here. I know Robert Schuller had been preaching a false gospel which is contrary to the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. His false gospel had proven to be a failure to his church and his followers. Robert Schuller was already dead and too late to change. This is the advice of Apostle Peter inspired by the Holy Spirit:
Act 8:22 ,“Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray the Lord that, if possible, the intention of your heart may be forgiven you.” Hear ye, followers of prosperity gospel! Hear ye, Americans and peoples of the world!
11. Christianity is the Revelation of God through Jesus Christ.
Mat 11:27 , “All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. “
Note: To reveal in Greek is apokalyptō which means to make known, make manifest, disclose what before was unknown, uncover; – it occurs 27 times in the New Testament. Jesus Christ came into the world to reveal God. When Christ spoke, God spoke. To know Jesus Christ is to know God. Revelation is not a scientific discovery; no one can by his own wisdom or effort to get to know God. God has to reveal Himself, and God has revealed Himself through His Son Jesus Christ.
Jhn 14:6-7, “Jesus said to him: I AM the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.” Everything we know about God is revealed in Jesus Christ by the Bible through the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit.
You have learned a lot about true Christianity through the Word of God.
12. CHRISTIANITY IS THE
PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST.
Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, not joining any church or organization. You can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by faith RIGHT NOW and wherever you are.
Jesus Christ is calling you:
Mat 11:28 , “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. ”
Jhn 7:37 , “On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying: If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. ”
Rev 22:17 , “And the Spirit and the bride say: “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. ”
Friends, the salvation of God is free, it was paid by the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus Christ says,
Rev 3:20 , “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with Me. ”
Now you have learned that Christianity is unlike all other religions.
Christianity is belief in Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior and the Faith in the Word of Christ and the teachings of the Apostles that Christians from the beginning hold dear.
Jesus Christ is knocking at the door of your heart.
Will you open your heart and accept Him?
Will you come to Jesus? Come wherever you are.
Come to accept and believe Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior now.
