Years ago I developed a theory of mankind.
This is a theory of man, that man is made of intelligence, value, and personality. It is a philosophical view of man. Man is used as a human being, mankind, man, woman, child included.
According to my THEORY OF MAN, my philosophical theory: A mankind is made of intelligence, value, and personality.
What about the Bible says about the trinity of man,
1Th 5:23, “Now may the God of peace Himself
sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul
and body be kept complete, without blame at the
coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
The Holy Bible speaks about the theological concept of human being, spirit and soul and body, in relation to God. The Word of God is absolutely and supremely and ultimately right. My knowledge of the divine truth is so little, I cannot right now explain the difference between spirit and soul. Someday I hope to be able to do that.
Right now I want to explain my theory of man, which is not contrary to the Word of God. In philosophy I am Willie Wong Thought. Over the years, I discover to understand a human being, you have to understand how his/her intelligence, value and personality work together. It is hard enough to understand what is intelligence, value and personality which is unique to a person.
No one has the same intelligence, value, and personality with another person. A mankind is what he/she is because he/she is made up by his/her intelligence, value and personality. So it is very important to know what is intelligence, value and personality. Secondly, it is quite important to understand how intelligence, value, and personality influence each other. Either of them can become dominant in making a decision.
An individual makes a decision completely based upon his intelligence, value and personality, if not influenced by other factors. Have you ever thought why do you enter a house through the door and not climbing in through a window?
Jhn 10:7, “So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly I say to you, I AM the door of the sheep.”
Thieves and robbers may come through the window, so your IVP tells you to do the dignified way of entering through the door.
I. INTELLIGENCE
“INTELLIGENCE”
occurs 4 times in 4 verses in the NASB20.
“MIND” occurs 140 times in 132 verses in the NASB20.
Apparently, the Bible uses the word “intelligence” sparingly while uses the word “mind” profusely.
What is intelligence? By my definition: It means cognitive ability, mental acuity, and grasping understanding.
Once I was an unpaid assistant to Dr. Harold Ronning, the clinical psychologist, Ph.D. It happened I was giving the The Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) intelligence quotient (IQ) tests to a black female client. One of the questions was, What is the shape of a ball? She promptly and strongly said, “Square.” It shocked me because the word “square” is more difficult than the word “round”. It shocked me also there were people in the world who thought the shape of a ball was square. This is not a racist statement, this was a statement of truth.
WAIS is an inherently cultural product, therefore it has cultural bias. Since there is no better Adult Intelligence Scale, so it is said not too bad.
By nature and nurture your intelligence wholly belongs to you. Generally speaking, intelligence is the ability to differentiate between good and evil, right and wrong, important and unimportant, above and below, beneficial and harmful, far and near, high and low, eternal and temporal, spiritual and carnal, heavenly and earthly, etc.

This has not always been obvious to investigators of the subject, however; indeed, much of the history of the field revolves around arguments regarding the nature and abilities that constitute intelligence.
If you study the intelligence of people, it will surprise you. There are a group of people I call having negative intelligence. The characteristic of this group of people is the fact they have intelligence to do evil, but absolutely no intelligence to do good.
I agree with Niccolo Machiavelli who said, “A sign of intelligence is an awareness of one’s own ignorance.”
On purpose I select two Scriptures, one from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament on intelligence:
Dan 1:17, “And as for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and intelligence in every kind of literature and expertise; Daniel even understood all kinds of visions and dreams.”
Intelligence in Hebrew is śāḵal which means understanding; prudence; insight; comprehension; wisdom; cleverness; — which occurs 63 times in the Old Testament.
Act 13:7, “who was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, a man of intelligence. This man
summoned Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the Word of God.”
Intelligence in Greek is synetos which means prudence; understanding; mentally putting together; sagacity; wisdom; ability to learn and understand; mental acuteness; — which occurs 4 times in the New Testament.
Indubitably, a man of intelligence would seek to hear the Word of God.
In my opinion Daniel was the most intelligent person in the Old Testament. His wisdom and expertise far exceed that of Aristotle, Plato, and Kant combined.
Apostle Paul has more understanding of the Gospel and full knowledge of the Christian faith than anyone dead or alive.
Apostle John has heard and seen more mysteries of the Kingdom of God than anyone dead or alive.
John Ruskin said, “Quality is never an accident. It is always the result of intelligent effort.”
I am sure the quality of intelligence of Daniel, Paul and John is not what the world can find or compare.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said something that many do not understand, “Character is higher than intellect… A great soul will be strong to live, as well as strong to think.”
After living in America a long time I discovered, “Ability without opportunity is a bird without wings.” In my corporate life, I only once encountered the most unusual executive called Jim King. He did something no executive had ever done before: He put an able staff to lead line executives or supervisors. One day in a meeting Mr. King appointed me to be in charge of a corporate project that put VP of Finance, Controller, and General Manager (who was my direct supervisor) under my leadership. When the project was successfully completed, he did not forget to order giving me a bonus of $2,000. Uncle Sam took half of it. I knew another VP who wrote a memo addressed to the President and me only for a policy development task bypassing my supervisor.
Num 23:19, “God is not a man, that He would lie,
Nor a son of man, that He would change His mind;
Has He said, and will He not do it?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”
As I have previously said, the Word of God uses the word “intelligence” sparingly, but the word “mind” profusely. Change mind in Hebrew is nāḥam which means to repent; to be sorry; to rue; to sigh; to suffer grief; to lament; — which occurs 108 times in the Old Testament. Clearly, God is not a man and He does not change His mind. What God said, He made it good.
Deu 28:28, “The LORD will strike you with insanity, blindness, and with confusion of mind.”
Surprisingly, God strikes the wicked with insanity, blindness, and with confusion of mind. Don’t be simple-minded, not all insanity, blindness and confusion of mind are caused by God. In Hebrew mind is lēḇāḇ which means heart; understanding; inner part; knowledge, thinking, reflection, memory; inclination, resolution, determination; conscience; seat of emotions; will; soul; — which occurs 52 times in the Old Testament. It is clear that God can cause confusion of the mind. God can cause mental illness. I strongly think the leaders and politicians of some nations suffer confusion of mind. I do not list their names lest I be the target of hatred. They know it is wrong and harmful to follow the hegemony of America and yet they do it.
Albert Einstein said something remarkable, “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”
Do you know the difference between the intuitive mind and the rational mind?
Eleanor Roosevelt said something most intriguing, “Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.”
I am not sure if great minds only discuss ideas and I am equally not sure discussing people are only done by small minds. Granted there are great minds, average minds and small minds. The most important event to take place in the universe is the second coming of Jesus Christ. I am very sure people who discuss the event of second coming of Jesus Christ are not average minds.
I know Jesus Christ has the greatest mind. Do you know what is the mind of Jesus Christ?
1Co 2:16, “For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ.”
Mind in Greek is nous which means comprising alike the faculties of perceiving and understanding and those of feeling, judging, determining (Strong’s Concordance); the intellectual faculty, the understanding; the capacity for spiritual truth; the faculty of perceiving divine things; a particular mode of thinking and judging, i.e thoughts, feelings, purposes, desires; the intellect; mental ability; — which occurs 24 times in the New Testament.
The mind of the Lord is the mind of Christ. Christians
have the mind of Christ through the Holy Spirit. Christians have the mind of Christ do not mean we know all things as Christ knows. Through the mind of Christ we can know spiritual truths including the will of God.
What is the mind of Christ? It is explained in the following Scriptures:
Phl 2:2-8, “make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit,
but with humility consider one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely
look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,
who, as He already existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be
grasped, but emptied Himself by taking the form of a bond-servant and being born in the likeness of men.
And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death: death on the cross.”
Have attitude in Greek is phroneō which means to think; to regard; to feel; to have the understanding; to be of the same mind; to exercise the mind; to think of oneself; to be of one’s party; state of mind; — which occurs 29 times in the New Testament.
To have the mind of Christ is to have the attitude of Christ.
The mind of Christ has these characteristics:
(1). Does not seek equality with God.
(2). Emptied Himself.
(3). Humbled Himself.
(4). Obedient to the will of God.
(5). Death on the cross.
Christians not only follow Jesus Christ, but also imitate Him by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.
The great difference between Christians and worldly people is the fact that Christians have the mind of Christ. It is not surprising that Christians have the views, feelings, thoughts, judgments, and temper of Christ influenced by His Spirit.
Therefore, to judge Christians by their intelligence will lead to a wrong conclusion.
Having said all needs to be said about intelligence, defective intelligence may lead to different consequences. Defective intelligence is not predictable, for one no one knows who has the defective intelligence. What is assumed normally does not apply to defective intelligence. For instance,
a superstitious person may act differently. A person who has ulterior motive may act differently than an normal person. A person who has wrong idea may act differently. A person who harbors malice will act differently and not rationally. Furthermore, a person who has faulty intelligence may act differently.
Human intelligence is not dependable or infallible. For example, science did not know the universe is expanding, while the Bible clearly says.
Psa 104:2, “Covering Yourself with light as with a cloak, stretching out Heaven like a tent curtain.”
About 1000 B.C. Holy men of Psalms already knew that God was expanding the universe.
Isa 44:24, “This is what the LORD says, He who is your Redeemer, and the One who formed you from the womb:
“I, the LORD, am the Maker of all things,
stretching out the Heavens by Myself
And spreading out the earth alone.”
Isaiah the prophet around 8 century B.C. learned through Revelation that God was expanding the universe.
Now scientists wish to put themselves high and mighty and said
“The expansion of the universe could be a mirage, new theoretical study suggests.” Out of ignorance comes arrogance. In the end the so-called science “could be” the greatest laughingstock in the universe!
II. VALUE
There are people who decide things against normal and common values because they have other motivations or reasons to make them to do things most people would not do. For the love of a woman, a man may do things that others may not. For the love of money, many do things that normal people would not do. A clear example, for supremacy and world domination, Western leaders and politicians do evil things clearly contrary to the Word of God.
Jim Rohn said, “The major value in life is not what you get. The major value in life is what you become.”
I say, life is more important to be what you are than what you have. A wise man is much better than a fool with riches. For mankind, life is more important to be what you are than what you have.
Kent Nerburn said, “Money is central to our lives. Yet money is not of central importance. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the lasting values that make life worth living.”
Unfortunately, most of the people I have met in life put money as the central importance, in particularly Americans. They have not discovered the lasting values in Jesus Christ.
Maurice Maeterlinck said, “In any event, a truth that disheartens, because it is true, is still of far more value than the most stimulating of falsehoods.”
Jesus Christ warns the people of the world, unless you repent and believe in Him, you will die in your sins.
John Ruskin said something of permanent value, “The best thing in life aren’t things.”
I think the best thing in life is truth, the truth in Jesus Christ who says,
Jhn 14:6, “Jesus said to him, “I AM the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father
except through Me.”
Jhn 8:32, “and you will know the truth, and the
truth will set you free.”
Jhn 6:38, “For I have come down from Heaven, not
to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.”
The prime motive of Jesus Christ is to do the will of the Father who sent Him. Christians who have the mind of Christ, the prime motive of our life is also do the will of the Father.
The value of Christians and the value of worldly people are not the same.
Lech Walesa said, “In many parts of the world the people are searching for a solution which would link the two basic values: peace and justice. The two are like bread and salt for mankind.”
Not only in many parts of the world, there is no peace and justice in the whole world.
Job 28:13, “Mankind does not know its value,
Nor is it found in the land of the living.”
It is pathetic that mankind does not know its value. The whole world is practicing the values of money, power, and sex.
Stephen Covey said, “Everyone has values; even criminal gangs have values. Values govern people’s behavior but principles govern the consequences of those behaviors.”
If I know your value, pretty much I can predict your behavior.
It is very difficult to find a person who is in balance of the most important things.
Michel de Montaigne said, “The value of life lies not in the length of days, but in the use we make of them.”
Phl 3:7-10,”But whatever things were gain to me, these things I have counted as loss because of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ, and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through
faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.”
I do not know anyone who possessed the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus our Lord better than apostle Paul. For that reason, disciples of Jesus can copy after Paul and imitate his faith.
The prevailing values of America is money, power and sex.
III. PERSONALITY
The word “personality” does not exist in the Bible.
According to Merriam Webster, First Known Use of the word “personality” was 15th century. The Holy Bible was much older than that.
Gen 2:7, “Then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living person.”
This is the first time in the Bible which describes a man as a biological person.

My IVP score has nothing to do with mental illness, it is more concerned about the totality of mankind in relation to action. It is matter of being and doing. It is an assessment of a whole human being.
Someone wrongly defined, “Don’t confuse my personality with my attitude. My personality is who I am, and my attitude depends on who you are.”
Some may not agree with such definition. Most people would agree that character is who you are, personality is what you appear to be.
Herbert Read said, “A man of personality can formulate ideals, but only a man of character can achieve them.” This statement differentiates between personality and character.
John Dewey said, “The self is not something ready-made, but something in continuous formation through choice of action.”
Choice of action may reveal the true person. In my theory, it is the dominant factor.
There is no casual traitor, treason is a choice of action.
Soren Kierkegaard said, “Personality is only ripe when a man has made the truth his own.”
Personality cannot be ripe without the truth.
Do you know the truth in Jesus Christ?
Maslow defines self-actualizing individuals.
Stephen Covey said, “It is futile to put personality ahead of character, to try to improve relationships with others before improving ourselves.”
Emily Post said, “Manner is personality—the outward manifestation of one’s innate character and attitude toward life.”
Only in crisis the attitude toward life becomes evident.
Jim Rohn said, “Make sure the outside of you is a good reflection of the inside of you.”
That is how many are fooled. For a hypocrite, the outside is not a good reflection of the inside. There are people who pretend to be what they are not.
Corinne McLaughlin said something of values, “Until your personality has exhausted its obsession with running the show, your soul isn’t given the space to express itself. Your personality can be threatened by your soul, because your personality has controlled your life for a long time and doesn’t want to give up control. Your personality is like a wild horse that tries to throw off the rider trying to tame it. The rider is your soul.”
Gen 3:13, “Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” And the woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
From Eve down, human beings like to pass the bug and avoid responsibility.
Is it true that women are more gullible than men?
No matter is men or women, you are accountable and responsible for what you have done. This is the truth.
Job 1:21, “He said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I shall return there. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD.”
This is the normal IVP of a man who has correct view of life, and correct view of God.
Job 4:8, “According to what I have seen, those who plow wrongdoing and those who sow trouble harvest it.”
This is the law of consequences. What a man sows, that he shall reap.
Psa 18:29, “For by You I can run at a troop of warriors; and by my God I can leap over a wall.”
This is the experience of a child of God who has encountered troubles and tragedies of life, and by God he has leaped over a wall.
Psa 23:4, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
This is the end of life journey on earth for a mature Christian.
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for God is with me.”
Even a world leader or politician fears death because they will face the judgment of God. However,
death becomes a comfort to the children of God.

Hitler was a leader of High Intelligence, High Personality to make him a very charismatic person, but he had low value that he was responsible for killing 6 million Jews

The IVP score of Martin Luther:

Needless to say that Martin Luther was the leader and theologian of the Protestant Reformation.
Not mentioning that Martin Luther singlehandedly challenged the Roman Empire, challenging the doctrines and practices of the Roman Catholic Church with the Ninety-five Theses.
Martin Luther incredibly and singlehandedly translated the Holy Bible from the Original Hebrew (Old Testament) and Original Greek (New Testament) into the German language. Not only that, Martin Luther standardized the German language. In my opinion, no one in history outside the Holy Bible has been greater than Martin Luther. Do not confuse a black false preacher who adopted his name but certified by FBI as an immoral person.

If I know a woman ahead of time that she has a certain predilection, it is more accurate to predict her conduct.
The Word of God in most reliable in any circumstances of uncertainty:
Mat 11:27, “All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son determines to reveal Him.”

Everyone who believes God sent Jesus Christ into the world to save sinners has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

This is true as God is true. The sheep of Jesus listen to the Voice of Jesus and follow Him. If anyone does not listen to the Voice of Jesus, does not follow Jesus — be it Joe Biden or Donald Trump cannot be the sheep of Jesus.

VI. OTHER FACTORS
Besides IVP there are other factors which influence the behavior or conduct of mankind. Other factors include prejudice, premeditation, ulterior motive, greed, malice, conscience, hater of truth … may distort IVP scores.
A. Prejudice
1Ti 5:21, “I solemnly exhort you in the presence
of God and of Christ Jesus and of His chosen angels, to maintain these things without prejudice, doing nothing with partiality.”
Prejudice in Greek is prokrima which means prefer one before another; a prejudgment; an opinion formed before the facts are known (Strong’s Concordance); preconceived opinion without just grounds– which occurs 1 time in the New Testament. In theory, an opinion formed with just grounds is not a prejudice. America is a very strange land, if you make your opinion with repeated verified experience about a certain race, you will be assaulted as a racist no matter what. Will God judge me because I hold opinion about a certain race verified by repeated experience?
What apostle Paul solemnly exhorted Timothy about the things in the Faith must be maintained without prejudice or partiality. The glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ is not partial, for it condemns all have sinned no matter White, Black, Brown, Yellow or Red.
Jas 2:1, My brothers and sisters, do not show
prejudice if you possess faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ.”
If you posses faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, you will not show prejudice if you posses faith. However, I have encountered White believers who think and act they are superior.
Jas 2:9, “But if you show prejudice, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as violators.”
This is clear: For Christians, to show prejudice is committing sin.

All you have to do is to examine the historical record what America has done since the end of WW2. Facts speak louder than fiction. NATO is American premeditation to target Russia in Europe, QUAD is also American premeditation to target China in Asia. To destroy Russia and China, America can dominate and dictate the world without obstruction.

Malice can make IVP score skewed. If I have advanced knowledge that the person has malice, it would be easier for me to predict the outcome of behavior.
Job 11:14, “ If wrongdoing is in your hand, put it far away, and do not let malice dwell in your tents.”

Judging from the content of Western mass media, they who have malice toward China drink malice like water! A person who has malice is detestable and corrupt.

Most people do not know the color of malice is black. Malice is produced in multiple colors of mankind.

D. Hypocrisy
Mat 23:28, “So you too, outwardly appear righteous
to people, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.”
Hypocrisy is a confusing and misleading factor. How can one detects hypocrisy. Jesus Christ hits the nail in the head. A hypocrite has two appearances: outwardly and inwardly. Hypocrisy dominated the Pharisees. You can say hypocrites are the descendants of Pharisees. A hypocrite is a person who pretends to be what he is not. Needless to say Western leaders and politicians and Western mass media are examples of hypocrisy.
Watch out American politicians who pretend to be Christians in order to get the votes of Christians.
Hypocrisy clouds a person’s score of IVP. If I know ahead of time that a person is a hypocrite, it would not be difficult to predict his behavior.

In my opinion, phony democracy is also tyranny. How can you stand when a hypocrite claims he is for making America great?

E. Wickedness
Gen 6:5, “Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of mankind was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil continually.”
Wickedness in Hebrew is raʿ which means evil; distress; wretchedness; mischief; trouble; hurt; harm; bad; sad; affliction; misery; pain; — which occurs 666 times in the Old Testament. Wickedness and evil are synonymous and can be used interchangeably. A wicked person is an evil person.
Carl Jung said, “It is a fact that cannot be denied: the wickedness of others becomes our own wickedness because it kindles something evil in our own hearts.”
Publilius Syrus said, “The wickedness of the few makes the calamity of the many.”

The Bible puts all mankind under sin.

One of the facts that I could never understand is why some people choose to be wicked. The wicked may rule and ruin the world today, but soon the wicked will die and to be thrown into Hell anyway for eternal suffering. A rational person has to ask is it worth it to do evil on earth and suffer for ever in Hell? Of course we do not understand the mystery of evil, the mystery of the devil.
F. Conscience
Every human being is born with a moral consciousness called conscience, an internal compass which differentiates between good and evil, and between right and wrong. It can be said that most people are endowed with a conscience although a person may violate his/her conscience and does evil thing.
A 16-year old girl was seduced by a Catholic priest to have sex. The priest explained to her the sexual intercourse was holy because he is a Catholic priest, however, the conscience of the little girl bothers her and told her that was wrong. Ordinary people may still have conscience as an internal compass to tell the difference between what is right and wrong.
Conscience must be maintained blameless both before God and before other people. However conscience is not fool proof. Some have bad conscience; some have weak conscience. Worse of all, 1Ti 4:2, “by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding
iron.” By speaking lies in hypocrisy some have cauterized their conscience. They have dead conscience.
Christians are the children of God, 1Ti 3:9, “but holding to the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience.”
It is the duty of believers in Christ to hold the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience.

Conscience in Greek is syneidēsis which means moral consciousness; sense of obligation to do right or good; scruple; — which occurs 32 times in the New Testament.
There are not many who can honestly say, “I have lived my life with an entirely good conscience before God up to this day.”
Act 24:16, “In view of this I also do my best to maintain a blameless conscience both before
God and before other people, always.”
To be sure, you can do business with a person who does his best to maintain a blameless conscience both before God and before other people, always. A man like Paul is rarer than the rarest pearl. If I tell you that you will lose to do business with a certain race of people, they will call me a racist. The world not only has no truth, the world will crucify a person who tells the truth. Particularly in America, you may not tell the truth about all races. Children of God have good conscience, blameless conscience, clear conscience, perfect conscience, and pure conscience.

Joseph Addison said, “A good conscience is to the soul what health is to the body; it preserves constant ease and serenity within us; and more than countervails all the calamities and afflictions which can befall us from without.”
Origen said, “Conscience is the chamber of justice.” If Origen is right, many world leaders and many nations have their departments of justice without conscience.
Socrates said, “I believe that we cannot live better than in seeking to become better, nor more agreeably than having a clear conscience.”
Someone said, “The only guide to man is his conscience.”
If the man is right, he must have a very bad conscience because under his leadership his nation had done many evil deeds. There is nothing more annoying than when the wicked pretends to be good.
Someone said, “Conscience is the inner voice that warns us that someone might be looking.”
No, Conscience is the inner voice that warns us that something must be wrong.
Someone said, “God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks to us in our conscience, but shouts in our pains.”
No! God whispers to us in our conscience, shouts to us in our pleasures, and speak to us in our pains.
Martin Luther said something worth remembering, “My conscience is captive to the Word of God .”
Heb 9:14, “how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself
without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience
from dead works to serve the living God?”
You do not need the IVP scores of traitors. The Chinese traitors did so much evil under Japanese occupation of China. You can also easily predict what Chinese traitors would do today in Taiwan.
Theodore Roosevelt said strongly, “Peace is normally a great good, and normally it coincides with righteousness, but it is righteousness and not peace which should bind the conscience of a nation as it should bind the conscience of an individual; and neither a nation nor an individual can surrender conscience to another’s keeping.”
Who can tell me what binds the American conscience? Has America surrendered its conscience? Who is keeping the American conscience?
G. Depraved mind
But conscience is not all reliable, some wicked people have their conscience cauterized dead, and they have “depraved mind” to dominate and influence their behavior.
Rom 1:28-32, “And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper, people having been filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, and evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful,
inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, withoutunderstanding,
untrustworthy, unfeeling,
and unmerciful; and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.”
The wicked who have a depraved mind and do those things that are not proper. Having been filled with all unrighteousness, they practice wickedness, greed, and evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unfeeling, unmerciful.
This is the last resort when God gives people up to a depraved mind. A person with a deprave mind is loose to do all sorts of evil deeds.
Klaus Kinski said, “One should judge a man mainly from his depravities. Virtues can be faked. Depravities are real.”
A depraved mind is the large capital of the wicked as if he has unlimited bank account. It is wickedly real. The wicked do “the works of the devil.” The evil doers are deep in depravity.
Someone said correctly said, “It is not the evil itself which is horrifying about our times – it is the way we not only tolerate evil, but have made a cult of positively worshipping weakness, depravity, rottenness and evil itself.”
James Madison said sensibly, “There is a degree of depravity in mankind which requires a certain degree of circumspection and distrust.”
George Washington said the truth, “The blessed Religion revealed in the word of God will remain an eternal and awful monument to prove that the best Institution may be abused by human depravity; and that they may even, in some instances be made subservient to the vilest purposes.”
Paul Washer made a comparison worth remembering, “It is only against the pitch blackness of the night that we see the glory of the stars. And it is only against the pitch blackness of man’s radical depravity that we can begin to see the glories of the gospel.”
William Wilberforce said forcefully, “Wherever we direct our view, we discover the melancholy proofs of our depravity; whether we look to ancient or modern times, to barbarous or civilized nations, to the conduct of the world around us, or to the monitor within the breast; whether we read, or hear, or act, or think, or feel, the same humiliating lesson is forced upon us.”
Noah Webster said summarily, “Knowledge, learning, talents are not necessarily connected with sound moral and political principles…. And eminent abilities, accompanied with depravity of heart, render the possessor tenfold more dangerous in a community.”
If we are honest, everyone of us can beat our chest and pray with sincerity, “God, be merciful to me, the sinner!”
Luk 18:13, “But the tax collector, standing some
distance away, was even unwilling to raise his eyes toward heaven, but was beating his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!”
G. The Holy Spirit
Christians have the most reliable Guide, the Holy Spirit, to lead them into all truth. To have the Holy Spirit indwelling is the same to have the Lord Jesus with you. Nations and peoples can be devoid of many things. It is apparent many nations are devoid of financial and economic resources, technology, infrastructure and skilled population. Devoid means lack of. Some nations and peoples are so desperate that they are devoid food, water, and public health and medicine.
Unbelievers are devoid of:
(1). Knowledge
Jer 10:14, “Every person is stupid, devoid of knowledge;
Every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols,
For his cast metal images are deceitful,
And there is no breath in them.”
The longer I live the more I believe “Every person is stupid, devoid of knowledge.”
This speaks of the stupidity of idolatry. Even in this age of information there are still nations and peoples who worship idols.
Most Europeans are not idol worshipers, yet they are also devoid of knowledge. They do not acknowledge that their imperialism, colonialism and capitalism are morally wrong and socially reprehensible. The European civilization has done most harm to the world. They are not enlightened to pay damages and compensations to the colonists they had oppressed, robbed, and murdered.
Ordinary people have the knowledge of good and evil. Fools hate knowledge. The world has the knowledge of so-called science, the windy knowledge, but the world does not have the knowledge of the Most High, the knowledge of the Holy ONE, the knowledge of God, the knowledge of God’s ways, perfect knowledge, wonderful knowledge, delightful knowledge, pleasant knowledge, the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, the knowledge of salvation, accurate knowledge about the Way, the knowledge of the Son of God, real knowledge, true knowledge of God’s mystery, the knowledge of the truth, the knowledge of every good thing, the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
(2). Devoid of The Spirit.
Jde 1:19, “These are the ones who cause divisions,
worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.”
Just as false brothers and false teachers cause divisions in the Church, so Western leaders and politicians cause divisions in the world. No one can argue against the fact that Western bloc has military and political alliances in the form of NATO and QUAD. Western leaders and politicians and Western mass media are worldly-minded. The fact the West seeks hegemony and domination is a proof of such worldly mindedness. Worst of all, these are the people who are devoid of the Spirit.
The persons who are devoid of the Holy Spirit are also devoid of
(A). Wisdom – Deu 32:28
(B). Knowledge – Jer 51:17
(C). Understanding – Pro 24:30
(D). Truth – Jhn 8:44
Persons devoid of the Holy Spirit may still do good; but persons with the Holy Spirit can never do evil.
VII. DEFECTIVE NATURE
Of all influencing factors, there is none more prevalent and powerful like national TV. Most leaders and politicians do not know or realize is that national TV can determine the destiny of a nation.
The principle is simple: What you see is what you get.
The United States for decades its national TV produces violence, vulgarity, incivility, rudeness, crudeness, love of money, love of power, love of sex, the wild West mentality, indulgence, alcohol and drugs, — how could any wonder why America has gun violence as a way of life. What you see is what you get. If you really want to know the truth of a nation, it is simply just watch its national TV. It is only America can produce a serial movies called Terminator. Vulgarity is also produced abundantly on TV that some pretty young American girls shocked me with their outpouring of vulgarity beyond measure. What you see is what you get. It is simple like that.
Some nations are so proud because their peoples do not produce anything. Their peoples run and sing and dance; eat and drink beer and produce many unwanted and unsupported children. The overpopulation of unskilled and uneducated people increase debt and liability to the nations. Since they never put up efforts in nation building, when there is excessive rain, they have flood. When there is no rain for a long time. They have drought. When there is drought, they have famine. Disasters produced by nature are not as fierce as man-made disasters in military coup detate, military conflict, internal conflict, violence and unrest, rebellion, riot, and creation of displaced population. Don’t worry, they will call on UN or international community to provide humanitarian aid. An unruly nation like Sudan can turn the UN round and round and lead to being held hostage, not knowing what to do.
The bad peoples of the world do not realize violence, injustice, evil deeds, aggression, intervention, war, sanction, wickedness, lies, robbery, etc are ugly.
Why do people score the same in Intelligence, Value and Personality decide to take different course of action?
I discover the underlining reason of defectiveness. People may have defective intelligence, defective value and defective personality. There are unlimited combination of defective Intelligence, defective Value, and defective Personality. For that reason, the same score of IVP may not have the assured predictability.
As a case in point, there is no defect in IVP of Western leaders and politicians. But they seek hegemony and world domination whick distort their views and perception.
The Bible calls it “depraved mind.” Depraved mind plays a role more influential and more detrimental than anything in a person without the Holy Spirit.
XI. NEW SOLUTION
Many high-paid UN officials do not come out with a plan to reform the UN. Many high-paid UN officials do not see the need to reform the UN.
HERE the highlights of reforming UN is suggested and provided.
The UN needs new a Charter to highlight the plan of Reform:
(1). All member states of the UN must sign off to the UN NEW CHARTER and abide by it ALWAYS.
(2). All member states must have a New Constitution.
(3). The New Constitution of each member state must stipulate the sovereignty of a nation resides in the hands of it citizens.
(4). Through the National Referendum the majority of citizens (51%) have the power to remove instantly any elected or appointed official without impeachment. A vote of no confidence is sufficient, the official does not need to commit a crime.
Note: Therefore demonstrations, riots, rebellions, unrest, violence are no longer necessary. Many peoples and nations do not realize the practice of general election is not equivalent to the practice of democracy. Many nations who have a general election still have political problems. There are no provisions for citizens to remove instantly a bad leader or corrupt politicians. The new Constitution will solve the problem.
(5). The majority of citizens of any nation may change the government through National Referendum, remove instantly any unwanted leader or politician, change national policy, change national direction without impeachment. Impeachment does not work, Bill Clinton has proved its failure and futility.
(6). All military coups d’état for any reason are unlawful and unconstitutional, therefore all participated generals shall be executed without appeal. If a nation is too weak to do the job, the UN shall send an expedition force to capture the guilty generals and have them publicly executed.
(7). The UN’s new charter condemns all guns violence, military coup d’etats, military conflicts, civil wars, interference by other nations, riots and rebellions, gangsters and terrorists, sanctions, etc.
(8). The police who commits unlawful killing shall be executed, no damage reward shall be given to the victim’s family, and the lawyer will never get a percentage of it.
(9). All armed crooks and criminals, gangsters and terrorists shall be shot at the scene without due process of the law.
(10). All member states who are customarily and habitually caused conflicts, riots, rebellions, civil wars, unrest shall be condemned without any international humanitarian aid.
(11). There is no migrant crisis. Migrants themselves create crisis for themselves. Migrants are not refugees. They are uneducated, unskilled, unproductive people who are not good in their own home countries; they have false hope or wrong dream that once they enter a Western nation, they will be on welfare and live happily hereafter. The current Administration are guilty for not deporting 65 million illegal aliens who are illegally residing already in America. America must reject and declare not welcome illegal, unlawful, and undesirable migrants. America does not accept immigrants except doctors and nurses. America puts asylum application for 100 years. Any nation which serves as a conduit for illegal migrants will be attacked. America needs to build fences, walls, and wires to prevent illegal entry. America must have troops to secure the borders, and use force if necessary to expel forced entry. America will not provide humanitarian aid to unlawful migrants under any circumstances.
(12). Illegal migrants cannot enter any nation which does not want them. No rescue or humanitarian aid will be given to unlawful migrants under any circumstances.
(13). Only citizens can qualify for welfare in America, and they must work for it. An unmarried woman can no longer receive public assistance to produce many children without a husband. Her children must be put up for adoption and the woman must be sterilized. A man who gets a woman pregnant must be forced by law to be financially responsible for the woman and her child.
(14). There is only peace if when Palestinians, Arabs and Hamas withdraw completely from Jewish land (West Bank, Golan Heights, Holy Mount, Gaza, Jenin, etc.) and seek Arab land to establish a Palestinian state.
(15). The International Criminal Court (ICC) must be true to its original functions to investigate and try individual or nation charged with the gravest crimes of concern to the international community: genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and the crime of aggression. All victimized individuals ans nations may take their cases to ICC against the defendants whether nations or individuals.
(16). Africa is not one nation, it has massive needs. Every nation in Africa has massive needs. Any nation which is regularly and hopelessly bankrupt, corrupt, insolvent, undeveloped, unproductive, overpopulated, can no longer ask for international aid, but it may sell itself or its assets.
(17). Any state member of UN must conform and obey the New Charter of the UN. Whenever a member state violates the New Charter of the UN, the UN General Security Council is authorized to reprimand and warn the member state. Repeated violations of the New UN Charter will incur censure. Censure means sanction, no diplomacy, no transportation. The violated member state is cut off.
A sinner is sold to the devil, Jesus Christ paid the ransom so that you may be saved.
Mar 10:45, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”
You can be sure many are saved and will be saved although not all
My dear reader, you have learned so much from the Holy Scriptures. Because man is sinful, and so the IVP of mankind is flawed.
Jesus says, You must be born again. To be born again is to have a new life, a partaking of divine nature. To become a son of God is to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven and eternal life with power and glory for ever.
