This article is written to let you know that all human relationships are conditional and not dependable. The relationship between believers and the Savior is wonderful, ONLY dependable, reliable and eternal.
Human relationship of any kind is the most fragile, frustrating, complex, complicated, disappointing, and difficult relationship. The relationship between the variables is more delicate than the human body system.

For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb; and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by people; and there are also eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven. The one who is able to accept this, let him accept it.”
This episode clears up a few things:
The relationship between a man and a woman is formal and permanent. I think a confusion is created because people use “relation” in terms of relatives and also in terms of the connection between two nations.
Most people would agree that Relationship is a relation between people. Although a bit more complicated. Most people would also agree that Relationship is the way in which two or more people or things are connected, or the state of being connected. However, in psychology it usually describes the relation between male and female, or man and woman.
Statement in Greek is logos which means what is declared, a thought, declaration, aphorism, a weighty saying, a dictum, a maxim (Strong’s Concordance); saying; doctrine; teaching; reason; cause; ground; – which occurs 330 times in the New Testament. Not all people can accept truth statements. Accept in Greek is chōreō which means to receive; understand; practice; make room for one’s heart; – which occurs 10 times in the New Testament.
Eunuch in Greek is eunouchos which means an emasculated man; in the palace of oriental monarchs who support numerous wives the superintendent of the women’s apartment or harem, an office held by eunuchs; one naturally incapacitated for marriage or
begetting children; one who voluntarily abstains from marriage (Strong’s Concordance); a castrated person; – which occurs 8 times in the New Testament. Here Jesus specifies there are three ways in which a person may become a eunuch. There are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb; and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by people; and there are also eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Mat 19:10, “The disciples said to Him, “If the relationship of the man with his wife is like this, it is better not to marry.”
This is a classical example, one must test the human knowledge by the Word of God. The Scripture treats the relationship between a man and his wife as formal, while this human knowledge treats marital as informal.
Jhn 1:18, “No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made Him known.”
Here relationship can be interpreted as fellowship.
Exo 34:14, “You must worship no other gods, for the LORD, whose very name is Jealous, is a God who is jealous about His relationship with you.”
Psa 24:5, “They will receive the LORD’s blessing
and have a right relationship with God their savior.”
Rom 2:17, “You who call yourselves Jews are relying on God’s law, and you boast about your special relationship with Him.”
Rom 5:18, “Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone.”
2Jo 1:9, “Anyone who wanders away from this teaching has no relationship with God. But anyone who remains in the teaching of Christ has a relationship with both the Father and the Son.”
All the Scriptures cited above, the term “relationship” is not used the same as relation which Americans use.
There are different types of Relationships which include Marital Relationship, Parent-Child Relationship, People Relationship, Employer-Employee Relationship, etc.
Friedrich Nietzsche was right when he said, “We often refuse to accept an idea merely because the tone of voice in which it has been expressed is unsympathetic to us.”
Almost in all relationships, the tone of voice is of great importance. No one would accept threatening, insulting, oppressing, demanding, condemning, unsympathetic, hostile, intrusive, or pushing tone of voice even what you say may be true. Tone of voice is a great element in any public speaking. If you have an attractive, pleasant, and mellow tone of voice, you may be hired as a public relations person, announcer, corporate representative, sales person, etc.
I agree with Mark Twain who said, “Keep away from those who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you believe that you too can become great.”
I. MARITAL RELATIONSHIP
There are those who believe that marriage is made in Heaven, if there is I have not met one.
JOB AND HIS WIFE serve as an example how bad a marital relationship can be.
Job 2:7-10, “Then Satan went out from the presence of the LORD and struck Job with severe boils from the sole of his foot to the top of his head. And Job took a piece of pottery to scrape himself while he was sitting in the ashes.
Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold firm your integrity? Curse God and die!”
But he said to her, “You are speaking as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we actually accept good from God but not accept adversity?” Despite all this, Job did not sin with his lips.”
Anything worse than to have a wife who is not with you when you are in desperate disease and down? If anyone tells you to curse God and die — that person is definitely your greatest foe! I have read the Biography of Abraham Lincoln. It was reported that Lincoln suffered a lot from his wife.
Another man who was very unlucky was Samson.
Jdg 14:3, “But his father and his mother said to him, “Is there no woman among the daughters of your relatives, or among all our people, that you go to take a wife from the uncircumcised Philistines?” Yet Samson said to his father, “Get her for me, because she is right for me.”
There are two persons in the Old Testament which I do not understand. One is Solomon, how could the wise Solomon in his old age be seduced by pagan princesses to worship idols? Secondly, how could Samson say that Delilah was right for him?
This was really and truly that marriage was made in Heaven. Rth 4:13, “So Boaz took Ruth, and she became his wife, and he had relations with her. And the LORD enabled her to conceive, and she gave birth to a son.”
Boaz was really blessed with wealth, a beautiful and virtuous wife, a son and good mother-in-law.
It is true, no one can always know the disposition of their spouse before they enter into marriage.
Abraham Lincoln suffered the disaster of marriage and distress of a wife without remedy.
The most admired marriage of the century on TV was Prince Charles and Princess Diana. They had everything: fame, fortune, position, youth, beauty, etc. Who ever thought it turned into a tragedy?
II. PARENT-CHILDREN RELATIONSHIP
JACOB suffered a great deal through his ten sons who fooled him for the death of Joseph his beloved son.
There are bad fathers and there are also bad sons. To be good, father must be father, son must be son. The responsibility of a father is different from the responsibility of a son.
You see many men had their wives bear many children. They did not have the means or abilities to have their children educated. Consequently, their children because lack of qualification and job skills cannot find well-paid jobs. I felt totally incapacitated when I tried to get a man to find a job, but the best of his abilities was only a dog trainer.
The best thing that parents can give to their children is a good education that enables them to live independently.
I was shocked to hear by chance the conversation between a mother and a daughter on virginity and sex. There is something wrong in American culture that girls are so eager to get rid of their virginity as if it were something undesirable. Christians are told not to commit fornication before marriage, and not to commit adultery after marriage. Someone made a shocking statement that you can no longer find a virgin in America over 13.
It is my opinion that the parents have greater and heavier responsibilities than their children. You can have a successful career but a failed parent.
III. FAMILY RELATIONSHIP
The relationship of Joseph with his ten brothers not only bad, it was treacherous. The responsibility of an elder brother to his younger brother is important. Never sell out the interest of your younger brother. Sometimes the bad sibling relationship is caused by the parents. Often the bad sibling relationship is caused by envy and hostility among themselves. It is the leadership of parents to ensure there is love and mutual affection among brothers and sisters. The parents fail miserably if they do not succeed in establishing this fundamental relationship.
Joseph was a most remarkable man because he could rise from a slave to the Prime Minister of a nation. The secret was God was with Joseph and Joseph feared the Lord.
The life of Joseph teaches us the great truth of Rom 8:28: “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
The wonder of all wonders, the mystery of all mysteries, is the fact that the Omnipotent and Omniscient God is able to work all things together for good to those who love God.
Gen 50:19-21, “But Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in God’s place? As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive. So therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” So he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.”
Almost all problems of the world are because American and European leaders and politicians are in God’s place, as manifested in mainstream Western media; they speak and act like God to control Russia, China and the world. The greatest thing they can do is to bring about nuclear war to destroy the whole world. Praise be the Almighty God, the brothers of Joseph meant evil against Joseph, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result. The more evil deeds committed by Western leaders and politicians, the faster Jesus Christ is coming again to judge the world and reign with the saints. More than anything else, I am amazed how the true and living God is able to work all things together for good to those who love Him. Hardly can man work two things together, for mankind does not control event and timing.
If you are a good brother, the incompetencies and inadequatecies of your younger brothers and sisters become a great burden to you.
I agree with Richard Bach, “The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other’s life.”
The most important job for parents to do is to build that bond that links the whole family together. The value of that bond is built on education; for an educated member of the family contributes much to that bond. That bond of respect and joy makes a happy family. George Bernard Shaw was right when he said, “A happy family is but an earlier heaven.” Parents are leaders of the family, they must instill this family bond concept into the minds of their children from the very beginning. Someone was wrong to say, “The only rock I know that stays steady, the only institution I know that works is the family.” There are so many dysfunctional families. Many families do not have a future because many parents did not have the vision that family is a link to the past and a bridge to the future. A strong family has a future.
IV. WORK RELATIONSHIP
Most Americans do not like their jobs, and the work place is not a happy place. For employees to like their jobs, five things must happen:
(1). To like your job, you must be able and willing.
There are so many supervisors, managers, and executives who do not know what they are doing. I got a call from a VP of Finance who told me he did not know the difference between a policy and procedure. I told him I was here to help. No one can like a job he does not know how to do.
(2). You must like your supervisor. To be a supervisor one must have ability as well as a pleasant personality. There are too many Theory X supervisors, managers, and executives. Their biggest ability is to put their people in chain and shackle. One supervisor who had neither ability nor attitude. He was a veteran promoted by another veteran, and he ran his little group like military. There are so many employees who are house slaves. They were so afraid of losing their jobs and therefore losing their homes, therefore they were willing to be abused by their supervisors.
(3). You must like the pay and benefits. Minorities are usually underpaid and underemployed. A colleague of mine who was a female Korean American but had a CPA, even the vice president had no CPA, so she had to work under supervisor who was less qualified.
(4). You must like the corporate environment. Many corporate environments are dominated by conflicts, power struggles, company politics and internal warfare. Some are discriminatory. There was a Chinese CPA, all others had birthday luncheons, the department ignored her.
(5). You must like people you work with. There was one member of the uper management who accused me of empire building. The white man was ignorant of the fact that from policy formulation, evaluation, coordination, executive review to final publication were all done by one man myself. I discovered it was not enough to get support from the top. There are many in the middle who blocked and even sabotaged your efforts because they did not want you succeed to get promotion and higher pay. How can American corporations work well when you have so many inside destructive obstructionists?
I had not known any member of top management who was really interested and serious to make the work place a happy place. Unless you live and work in America a long time, you do not really know how unhappy were work places in many corporations. There was one woman secretary of a director, they had good working relationship. Unfortunately the director left. The new director did not like this woman secretary at all and so used all means to pick on her everyday. She confided me all her problems created by the new boss. To my shocking so quickly she developed brain tumor and died. The hypocritical supervisor made a collection of money for her funeral. I thought she would live longer if the new supervisor did not make her life miserable.
V. CO-WORKER RELATIONSHIP
You have to live a long time and work a long time at American big corporations to know what kind of employees they were. The internal power struggle was so fierce that corporate politics became more important than corporate policies. Every Vice President was driven to get the budget and expand his empire even at the expense of corporate productivity and profit margin. It was not funny but malicious that a corporate vice president accused me of building empire. The white man was ignorant I was one man operation to be in charge of corporate policy from formulation, coordination, evaluation to final publication. In my opinion, most members of upper management did not know what corporate policies were, much less the importance of value of them. I recalled one Vice President called me that he could not tell the difference between a policy and a procedure. One Senior Vice President told me to get off his back, because he did not do anything and therefore cannot document it.
I found it not enough what you do for the corporation got support from the top. This America corporate environment may not be known to outsiders: many corporate employee would block, obstruct, and even sabotage what you tried to achieve for the company as a whole. How can American corporations do well when there is internal under current to upset it. Corporate employees were very afraid of your success that means your promotion and higher salary. They do not want to cooperate. This is the strangest phenomenon that you would think every employee is working hard for the good of the company. There are many employees using the company resources to work for themselves. This is unbelievable, but it is true. That is why in my management seminar I declared if I were the CEO, any employee would have free access to me through email. I would fire anyone even a VP if he/she works against the objective of the company. That is why the American work place is not a happy place: there are too much conflict, confusion and lack of discipline. Not to mention the attitude of unqualified supervisor. The corporate employees are divided into two groups: in and out. Corporate executives want loyalty and not ability. If you are not a member of the ingroup, no matter how qualified you are, you will not be promoted. It is always a problem if you are more qualified than your supervisor. Your supervisor does not want ability, he will do anything to target and tarnish you. There are too many Theory X supervisors and managers. Very often the attitude of co-workers, supervisors, managers and executives scares me.
VI. UNIVERSITY RELATIONSHIP
It is not an easy matter to attend a great university. A white friend of mine told me that his friend wanted to follow my steps to study under the famous Professor Dr. Harold Koontz. That is not easy matter at all. First you must have a bachelor degree, because Dr. Koontz taught only a graduate class. Secondly, you need to compete with other 40 graduate students. The class can accommodate only 40 students. Thirdly you have to fulfill the prerequisite. Fourthly, you need the approval of Professor Koontz himself.
I was lucky to study under Dr. Harold Koontz, the king of management. It was both an honor and a privilege to have Dr. Koontz as a world class professor and a personal friend. The professors of universities were like little kings who looked down at their students. It is not easy to have a professor as your friend. There was another professor which I like, but it did not have a chance to develop closeness to become a personal friend.
Do not get the idea that in a famous university all were first class professors. I had one instructor who was not qualified to teach Chinese geography although he was a Ph.D. candidate. I had one professor whom I called Doctor of Phantom. I had one professor who could not lecture at all, but his textbook was very good. I had one professor who taught Chinese Government and Politics, he wrote China in Chinese character upside down, of course no other students recognize it. I had a graduate councillor who was not worth a penny.
When I obtained my graduate degree, I was asked by the university authority if I wanted to go for Ph.D. I did not have to do anything, the university would take care of everything. Since I already had completed 45 units, with UC GPA 3.7, and 60 units would already qualify for Ph.D. I only need 15 more units to go to get a Ph.D. However, I turned down the offer of the university on account I had been poor for a long time and wanted now to get a job and have a better life.
VII. RELGIOUS RELATIONSHIP
With respect to bad and good preachers, I am forced to tell you something about myself so that there is credibility in what I am saying. I was a stupid boy who believed every preacher, pastor or missionary was a man or woman of God. My father was a missionary and a vice president of ICCC. My father was the pastor, I was a lay assistant. Many foreign preachers, pastors, missionaries visited our homes. So I got to know many preachers in person by names. I also know most of the famous American preachers at that time by reputation or correspondence. I have no intention to call them by names. I cannot and dare not disclose too much private matters of those preachers by name. If you are an American having lived almost half a century in America; you must know for sure some infamous preachers who had fallen from grace. The most infamous were the Pentecostal preachers of husband and wife, the man went to jail. His wife confessed on TV that she loved costly and expensive things. Almost all prosperity gospel preachers love fame and fortune; somehow they think they deserve luxuries because they preach the gospel. Let me say prosperity gospel according to the Bible is a false gospel. So all prosperity gospel preachers are false preachers who deceive many and lead many astray from the truth of the Gospel.
There was a Chinese Christian preacher who was the founder of a missionary union. The man used to preach in America, Europe, and Australia and collected money as if his own pocket money to educate his children in America. He especially loved my mother’s cooking (which was better than any chef in a big restaurant). My father was a missionary under his mission and got not one penny for his children education. The outrageous Chinese preacher ate chicken by chewing for its juice and spat out the meat! We poor missionary children for months may not have chicken.
A white missionary from South Africa whose mission was world famous, that was why I did not mention it. The white missionary told me the outrageous thing that South Africa was the white’s promised land, and the blacks were like Cannanites who deserved to be killed. Little anyone knew, the white missionary was a homosexual. His wife was hospitalized for delivering a baby. He requested my father to approve me spending the night in his house. My father were too trusting of his preacher associates. I was a naive virgin boy, and fell asleep quickly. The next morning the white missionary confessed to me that at night during my sleep he was molesting me through gouging my private parts. My parents had passed away, I never told them or anyone this shameful act of the White African missionary. This incident reminds me of thousands and thousands of boys and girls who have been sexually molested and abused by Catholic priests and nuns in America and abroad. The religious authority can be evil and immoral.
Another Chinese preacher, bishop and founder of another mission recruited my father to be a member of his mission. One day he came to America when I was attending a missionary school. I was elected chairman of foreign missionary fellowship, so I was in a position to invite him to speak to the missionary student body. He was so delighted because I introduced him as the greatest Chinese preacher of that time. So he told my father that he wanted to give me in charge of the all the mission churches in a country. I told my father God had something else for me. I never regretted to turn down an offer of ordination and to be in charge of all the mission churches of one nation.
The greatest and true preacher I was lucky to know was Dr. Arthur Mouw, who was also a personal friend. I introduced him to the missionary student body at a foreign missionary fellowship meeting as the greatest missionary to Borneo. Dr. Mouw was a man of God who was poor. There are two things I protested to Bing.com. One is that Bing.com does not seem to get the message: To make money Bing.com links anybody who has the name Willie or Wong, and with Thought, no matter black, white, male, female, or scum and scoundrel with the website of Willie Wong Thought without my permission, even at my protest. Many black church members are protecting their leaders or pastors from committing sexual immorality and greed. As an example, a famous black preacher of false gospel was certified by FBI as an immoral person. A white Christian lady told me some white churches are also protecting their pastors from committing sexual immorality. I lived through two black riots in Los Angeles, I know who black people are. I can never forget to watch on TV live how a black young man all covered up pushed an Asian old man from behind with great force so much so the old man fell facedown and died later. A big stout black man repeated trampled and tramped a small Asian woman with force on her head and body for no reason. I also saw how blacks robbed and looted Chinese stores, etc. You can verify this: cities of black mayors are more corrupt than other cities.

VIII. CORPORATE RELATIONSHIP
I have known so many Chairmen, CEOs, Presidents, and Vic President of American corporations. Most of them were white males. I think the most enlightened one was Chairman John F. McDonnell. I believe if I had arrived at the McDonnell Douglas Corporation seven years earlier and given full authority and power I could have saved McDonnell Douglas Corporation, the best firm I had worked for although there were bad people in the middle and lower levels.
It is offensive to say that many Chairmen, CEOs, Presidents and Vice Presidents of business did not know how to manage and how to run a company successfully. If you think because you have abilities and talents, corporations in America would put out a red carpet to welcome you. You are doomed to a surprise. Corporate executives want loyal and obedient lackeys and yes-men, they do not want abilities and talents who can think for themselves.
Worse are the corporations that defraud people like banks, hospitals, insurance companies, auto repairs, etc. I cannot work and have to lie all the time. In many cases and situations, an accountant or CPA is required to lie weekly, monthly, annually
Of all my corporate experiences, there was one most exceptional and unusual. Once I was told that the Sr. Vice President Jim King had appointed me to lead in a corporatewide project that the Vice President of Finance, Controller, and General Manager work under my leadership. This was unprecedented. Line authority would never be subject to staff leadership. With some muss and fuss, rain and wind, finally the project was completed. Mr. Jim King was delighted and directed that Willie Wong be given a bonus. My, Uncle Sam took 50% of it.
IX. FRIEND RELATIONSHIP

Luk 6:16, “Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.”
Traitor in Greek is prodotēs which means a betrayer; one who commits treason; a person who is not loyal; back stabber; double dealer; subverter; – which occurs 3 times in the New Testament. Do you know only people among your friends can become a traitor?
Mat 27:3-5, “Then Judas, His betrayer, seeing that He had been condemned, was remorseful and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” And they said, “What is that to us? You see to it!” Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself.”
To betray in Greek is paradidōmi which means to give into the hands of another; to deliver up treacherously; – which occurs 121 times in the New Testament.
Luk 22:48, “But Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”
The worst kind of betrayal is with a kiss.
This is my own definition of friendship:
Friendship is defined as having someone you can share your joy and sorrow, success and failure, prosperity and adversity. I do not seek popular support.
Here are a sample of some life experiences in America the land of exploitation and gross self-interest. These were not made-up stories, but real happenings. A white man friend died, I was notified and so I attended the morning service and even the afternoon funeral service although I was working as well as gave some money to his son. My brother was going to get married and informing to invite him. But the son said he had to look at his appointment book to see if he is able to attend or not. So my brother never invited the white man.
Annually I was invited to lecture at Chinese university and at the same time vacationing in China. I used to live in Orange County, and very familiar with the territory. I bought a round-trip airplane tickets from an airline agent at Westminster who was a Vietnamese Chinese. I was a very cautious person, so I called the Air China to verify if my name were on the list for a certain departure date. The Vietnamese Chinese without shame sold me bogus tickets, the authority of Air China was so angry that she wanted to pull her license.
There were two American neighbors, one white man with two cars, the other was Chinese also having two cars. One day the White neighbor’s car was out of order and so he borrowed a car from the Chinese. Afterwards the Chinese’s car was also out of order, he wanted to borrow a car from his White neighbor. The White neighbor refused, this is the good neighbor in America.
There was a Vietnamese Chinese who joined the department so they nicely invited the Vietnamese Chinese to lunch free. Afterwards they also had lunch together once a while, but each paid for his own lunch; the Vietnamese Chinese wanted to have a free lunch again.
A Cuban was laid-off, no one in the office would give him a free luncheon. So I decided to give him a free lunch and the cost to be divided between a Mexican employee and me. After the lunch, but the Mexican refused to pay his share.
There are 1001 incidents that you cannot make friends with most Americans. So I was very careful in picking my friends, I even turned down Whites and Chinese who invited me to dinner because I knew their ulterior motive. I had a white woman friend who betrayed me. I had a white man friend and his wife who dinned at my home who betrayed me. I had a Chinese friend since college years, I had give him more than 1,000 hours of my life of free consulting to help him in many ways, including writing a policy and procedure manual for his pharmacy. The Chinese also betrayed me.
As regards Dr. Harold Koontz, it was quite remarkable because the man had moral character, and not greedy and did not seek fame. I have found after almost 50 years of studying, working, and living in America that most people are motivated by money, very few motivated by truth. Dr. Koontz and I can have several hours of conversation, intellectual exchange, without a cup of tea or water. Dr. Koontz at that time what was curious what went wrong with Savings and Loan and Life Insurance companies. My expertise fully satisfied his curiosity. I regretted I never talked to Dr. Koontz about his relationship with Jesus Christ. I once wrote a Christian article which he considered it was good. I invited Dr. Koontz to dinner and I always paid for it. Once he suggested he paid half of it because he could have tax deduction. I dismissed the idea that no one paid for half of his birthday luncheon. Dr. Koontz drank, and I did not. I discover to become friends the two must have similar IVP (Intelligence, Value and Personality). There was another brilliant professor but there was no chance to develop a closeness. I do not want to give away so much of my private and personal matters. Seneca was right when he said, “One of the most beautiful qualities of true friendship is to understand and to be understood.” Dr. Koontz confided me many things which I do not dare to disclose to the world. He had seen two personal letters which President Richard Nixon wrote me. Dr. Koontz also wrote two letters to President Nixon and never got a reply. I asked him what he wrote to Nixon about, he said frankly that he supported the President. I answered there were millions and millions of people who supported President Nixon, he could not have time to respond to everyone. This is a good Swedish Proverb, “Shared joy is a double joy; shared sorrow is half a sorrow.”
I agree with Benjamin Franklin, “If you would be loved, love, and lovable.”
There are so many unlovable people in this world. Even now I have received so many young women because of my famous website who wrote me that they like me. I discarded those letters without even looking at them.
William Shakespeare was a wise man who said,
“Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.”
In America you meet many immigrant minorities who are poor in English. I helped some to draft letters to solve their problems. All my classmates knew my English was excellent. An Indian student begged me to help his friend to make an English composition by giving me $5. At first I refused, because it would take hours to do a composition. But the Indian student insisted to save his friend from flunking from college, $5 is nothing. Doing good is not expecting a reward.
I was young and now I am old, I discover one great truth. I agree wholeheartedly with Epicurus, “It is not so much our friends’ help that helps us, as the confidence of their help.”
If you are in trouble, you have to beg your friends to help. Those are not true friends. It means you have no confidence in your friends will help. If they were true friends, they would like to help without asking. If my friend is in trouble, I would be willing to help without asking.
Let me tell you the truth conclusively and definitively there are people in the world who exist only to do evil. Avoid and shun these people, not to say to become friends with them. What I have just said is backed up and verified by a life-long experiences and observations and according to the Word of God. Unfortunately, I have met quite a few evildoers.
Although I do not know who Benjamin Johnson was, I agree with what he said, “True happiness consists not in the multitude of friends, but in their worth and value.” I do not have many friends, the two friends I had, namely, Dr. Arthur Mouw and Dr. Harold Koontz are worth more than the gold bullion of the Bank of England.
Lucius Annaeus Seneca was right, “One of the most beautiful qualities of true friendship is to understand and to be understood.”
I even go further by saying, “Friends are not made but recognized. When one side does not maintain and recognize the existence of friendship, the friendship is broken or dead.”
For that reason, Ralph Waldo Emerson was wise in saying, “Keep your friendships in repair.”
I disagree with a famous philosopher who said, “There is nothing on this earth more to be prized than true friendships.” I hold the loving marital relationship is more to be prized on this earth than anythibng else.
But I certainly understand the statement and sentiment of Helen Keller who said, “Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light.” What is the use of light to a blind person? It is my practice whenever I see a blind man crossing the street, I always volunteer to help to lead him through.
I hardly disagree with Euripedes who said, “Friends show their love in times of trouble, not in happiness.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson was right, “A friend is a person with whom I may be sincere. Before him I may think aloud.”
Dr. Harold Koontz was free to confide to me anything, some were provocative and astounding, which I would not disclose to the world. You are not a true friend if you disclose something that may hurt your friend’s reputation. You see in America so many individuals wrote memoirs that told everything in order to make money. There are American audience who enjoyed gossips, immoral tales, and moral filth.
In America people often dangerously use friendships as an opportunity. When I introduced and arranged my professor Dr. Koontz to speak at the company management club; as a friend I made the terms of engagement and protected the interest of Dr. Koontz.
I determined the amount of speaking fee which was substantial and above the market price. I also made the rule of no home visit, no phone call and everything could go through me as his voluntary agent. I was the go-between, no one could contact Dr. Koontz directly. In such matter, you know Human Resources wanted to get in the act. The director of human resources told me he also took a management course taught by someone else but using Dr. Koontz’s textbook, the instructor was no good. A white man immediately said he wanted to make friends with Dr. Koontz. I said clearly and bluntly that Dr. Koontz did not need friends. The white man was the same man when corporate rumor was circulated that Willie Wong would be called and made a Vice President to be sent to China. The man came to my office and told me that he wanted to work for me and asked me to hire him. I picked up Dr. Koontz from his home with my car and brought him to the management club and also took him home afterwards. Dr. Koontz was particular, he did not want to sit in front because that would make him a victim in an accident. So he sat in the back, I was like his chauffeur. As a friend I volunteered to do everything for him.
I agree with Robert Louis Stevenson who said, ““We are all travelers in the desert of life and the best we can find in our journey is an honest friend.”
I also want you to know this truth:
Friends can become enemies, enemies are most unlikely to become friends.
X. ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIP
Organizations include business corporations, banks, firms, institutions, firms, companies, etc.
One famous person was wrong when he said, “Nobody can hurt me without my permission.”
BANKS CAN DEFRAUD YOU, CORPORATIONS CAN HURT YOU, WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION.
American justice does not serve the people. Once Los Angels Daily wanted to increase its subscription adopted an unlawful means. They picked up my name and address from White Telephone pages and sent it to a collector’s company to falsely accuse me of not paying subscription. At the time I was able to read the New York Times free, who wanted to waste money and time on such a useless daily. The collection agency threatened to ruin my credit if I did not pay. Luckily I was in charge of policy in a big company working with a colleague who was in charge of the law. I visited his office and told him how I was extorted by Los Angeles Daily for subscription fees I did not owe. The man kindly picked up the phone and said, “I am attorney of Willie Wong, and he never subscribed or read your daily, and you used a collection agency to threaten to ruin his credit.” The man in charge of Los Angeles Daily immediately apologized and confessed it was a mistake. This is the American justice, a crook and criminal can threaten anybody without penalty.
During my vacation period, I usually went to China for several weeks, lecturing at major Chinese universities, and partly vacationing. During the period when I was away from home, no electricity was used. However, I noticed my electric bill did not go down even I did not use electricity for several weeks. So I called the power company Edison Power and asked for a reason. The female representative of Edison Power shocked me with the statement that they did not charge customers according to usage. It dawned on me the power company can charge customers whatever they liked. Not to mention Pacific Bell who switched my long distance carrier without my permission because they could charge a fee by switching. Not to mention a group of car repairs who defrauded. This is the situation of American justice. You can be easily defrauded without your permission and there is no recourse unless you want to pay for costly service of a lawyer.
In America crooks and criminals can defraud and threaten you with immunity and indemnity. The health-care terrorists of corrupt doctors, dentists, and hospital owners, drug and insurance companies, labs and medical supplies are even worse. American healthcare is the worst healthcare terrorism, the most costly, fraudulent, organized crime in the world. They withhold price information so that they can charge whatever they please (including your own underwear and surgery supplies although you did not have a surgery) after you discharged from the hospital or dead. They make all the decisions of tests and treatments without your approval. Although you pay for your medical records, doctors and hospital owners have ownership and control over them. Although every physician had been trained to read X-ray and lab tests, they deliberately required the so-called professional opinions of Radiologist and lab professional so that they can obtain high fees. They line up doctors to get pay from you although you did not hire them and they do nothing except to visit you to say hello in order to get pay. The charge of hospital room private or shared is much higher than 5-star hotel room.
If the U.S. government was able to deter and control the executives of Wall Street, there would not have been the economic and financial crisis of 2008 which defrauded the world over $50 trillion dollars. Not only no Wall Street executives were sent to jail (one Jewish crook died in jail), they shamelessly gave themselves $ billions in bonuses. The first time in American history the executives who failed and did not do good jobs were rewarded with bonuses.
Main stream media made much ado about employee frauds which are peanuts in comparison with corporate executive frauds which are coconuts. At SEC I learned about letting the small fish go in order to catch the big fish. Only people who have position, authority and power can become big crooks and criminals. You do not expect a delivery boy to defraud billions of dollars, do you? A delivery boy does not even have access to corporate $1. Because I was doing internal financial audits, so I discovered how member of top management can use corporate money as petty cash for private purpose and personal benefits. It was reported the high ranking federal employees use government credit cards to buy expensive things for themselves. So it is no surpirse that corporate managers may purchase items of supermarket and report them as items of petty cash.

Barings Bank Scandal
“This is one of the biggest ethical scandals in business, demonstrating that all it takes is just one person to demolish an empire.
Barings Bank was considered one of the oldest banks in the city of London. Founded by the German Baring family, the bank had quite the history, financing the Napoleonic Wars and handling the Queen’s personal bank account. This rich history ended in 1995 when an employee, Nick Leeson, lost the company $1.3 billion in speculative investing over a three-year period. He was able to get away with it for so long by manipulating records.
A company may be the biggest and richest in the world, but all it takes is one incident to bring it all down. This was evident with Barings Bank and Martha Stewart. When you are worth billions, it is a lot easier to eventually get caught since you always have the authorities breathing down your neck.
When a business rises to the top of a stock exchange and then spirals into an abyss of obscurity, executives need to ask: Was it all worth it? Well, perhaps if they don’t get caught and get to live in their villas in Lake Como, Italy then the answer might be yes!”

Unfortunately, it was later revealed that the company was meeting its numbers by cooking its books. The company kept huge amounts of debt hidden from investors and falsified its financial statements. It was ultimately found guilty of a massive accounting fraud and was forced to declare bankruptcy.
Several of Enron’s key executives were found guilty of corporate fraud and were sentenced to jail time. The situation got so bad that its auditor Arthur Andersen also collapsed in the wake of the scandal.
The upside of the huge fraud was it led to the passage of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, which put into place a series of measures that were designed to improve the accuracy and reliability of corporate disclosures.”
HealthSouth
“HealthSouth is one of America’s largest providers of post-acute healthcare. The company rapidly expanded in the 1990s and eventually became one of the biggest publicly traded healthcare companies in America with revenue of more than $4 billion in the early 2000s. However, the company started to crack under the pressure and CEO Richard Scrushy began to push his executive team to falsify earnings in order to meet Wall Street’s expectations.
That scheme worked for a while but it ultimately caught up with the CEO in 2002. The company was later charged by the SEC for inflating its earnings by $1.4 billion. Scrushy was also caught unloading $75 million worth of company stock just a few days before it posted a large loss.
While he was ultimately cleared of all charges, Scrushy was later sued by HealthSouth’s investors and was ordered to repay his $2.8 billion in compensation. He was also later convicted of bribing the Governor of Alabama.
As of July 2017, HealthSouth dropped its former moniker and is now known as Encompass Health.”

CONCLUSION
After all have been said or done, in all relationships the value boils down to the following simple tests:
(1). Does your relationship make the other person increase or decrease his/her self-worth?
(2). Does your relationship elevate or downgrade the other person?
(3). Does your relationship benefit or harm the other person?
(4). Is your relationship a burden or a blessing?
(5). Does your relationship bring happiness or sadness?
(6). Does your relationship take more than it gives?
(7). Do people enjoy your company or shun you?
Henry James was somebody who said, “Three things in human life are important: the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind.”
There is one Relationship which is most solid, dependable, reliable, and eternal — it is the Relationship between the Savior and saved sinner. Jesus says to His followers:
Mat 12:50, “For whoever does the will of My Father who is in Heaven, he is My brother, and sister, and mother.”
Jhn 4:14, “but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.”
Jhn 6:37, “Everything that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I certainly will not cast out.”
Jhn 14:18-21, “I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you. After a little while, the world no longer is going to see Me, but you are going to see Me; because I live, you also will live.
On that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I in you. The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself
to him.”
Jhn 14:27, “Peace I leave you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor fearful.”

Jesus Christ is with His followers always, to the end of the world.
You may receive and have such a wonderful Relationship if only you repent and believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as your Lord and Savior. You can do it now. I am afraid you may not have time.
God is our Rock. Jesus Christ is our Spiritual Rock. Christians have eternal security because our salvation in Christ is eternal.
